Did he mention that he keeps Saddam's pistol in his desk in the Oval Office so he can show it to big GOP contributors?

Nope, but he does have Santa Anna's wooden leg.

At parties, he puts it on his head and does the moonwalk...what a cutup!

It's still amazing to find out how much of america STILL support Bush, though. I have a guy in my class right now that swears up and down that Bush is the only hope this world has to survive. How on earth does someone become that dillusional? I know he doesn't do drugs.

A steady diet of propaganda designed to elicit fear in the average American can do astounding things.

Bush could have come out and said he just got out of meeting with all the world leaders, brokered world peace, came up with a completely reusable non pulluting energy source and in his spare time solved the world hunger problem, and was on the edge of curing all diseases known to man and some of you would still have said his speech was terrible. Even the Democrat analysts said it was a good speech. I am not saying you have to vote for the guy but at least have the balls to give credit where credit is due. It was a good speech.

I seriously doubt Bush is going to turn into a democrat

Perhaps if you could get through the first minute or so of it.

This election, for both parties, has been one of engendering the trust of those few undecideds. Those that trust Bush and those that trust the dream of what Kerry may do. The question we must ask of ourselves is who can we trust, they are both from wealthy aristocratic families, both are liberally educated and both have histories serving this country, whether governor or senator. With Bush we know what we can expect as we have observed his character over the last 4 years. When we look at Kerry we don't know what to expect aside from looking at his voting record in the senate. So the question that begs to be answered is who can you trust?

What, given your rather quixotic lexicon, do you think "engender" means?

I'm sure you thought the Saddam's Pistol thing was a clever bit of reparte from me.

It isn't. He really does have it in his desk drawer, and takes out and chortles like a schoolgirl when GOP contributors stop by for a visit.

To make a long story short, I don't take any responsibility for anything I post here. It's not news, it's not truth, it's not serious. It's parody. It's satire. It's bitter. It's angsty. Your mother's a *****. You like to jack off dogs. That's right, you heard me. You like to grab that dog by the bone and rub it like a ski pole. Your dad? Gay. Your priest? Straight. **** off and let me post. It's not true, it's all in good fun. Now go away.

In these few sentences, Varruss gives a very clear example of the type of fear I was talking about.

He will, of course, deny that he is the victim (or dupe) of the propaganda machine and that all his fears stem from his own personal experiences and belief system.

Considering Varus' normal ****** writing style and delusional nature I have to believe he copy cliped this from some conservative website then did a little rewriting to make it sound less stuffy and more like a redneck wrote it but it still doesn't sound argumentative enough to have been writen by him.

Because it lacks the words "commie", "******", "bedwetting" and "pinko"?

Bush made an interesting proposal about pooling small businesses together so that they can purchase insurance at the rates of large corporations... I think that was pretty cool. I'm also very much for tort reform. Could be an interesting fix to a large problem.

No, dear. I'm saying there's more than one propaganda machine, and they all use different weapons to do their dirty work.

You see it as propoganda, I see it as truth. When Kerry wins and a school goes up like the one in russia I'm glad you defeated "the propoganda machine"..

Kerry is nowhere near as strong on the war on terror as Bush is. Just because an issue doesn't fall to your side doesn't mean that people have to stop talking about it. I saw actual victims of the tragedies of 9-11 speaking at the convention. What is propogandist about that? If you (your side) have anything to add to the debate about 9-11 or terorrism then just bring it to the plate. Stop whining. And stop with the "vast rightwing conspiracy" crap too.
