SO what did you think about the Bush twins at the RNC last night? Where they used appropriately or should they have been more mature? The giggling little innocent routine was not what I was expecting.

I only heard part of it on the radio but they sounded... okay. Really, neither are politicians or statesmen and they sounded no worse than most people called upon to speak publicly. I'll admit that they didn't seem to have much to offer but I hardly think they'll cost Bush the election or anything.

The only reason they were up there was because Kerry's daughters did such a good job at the Dem Convention.
And the pauses they left for token laughter drove me nuts.
They were pretty terrible, but that's kind of to be expected (no that's not a shot at Bush, they're simply not used to that kind of thing).
I don't think either is very attractive, to be honest. They're okay, but if they weren't the President's daughters I don't think anyone would think they were "hot".

I saw the best minds of my generation destroyed by madness, starving hysterical naked, dragging themselves through the negro streets at dawn looking for an angry fix, angelheaded hipsters burning for the ancient heavenly connection to the starry dynamo in the machin ery of night.
I hardly think that anyone was convinced to vote for kerry because he saved a rat... Kerry's daughters had the same effect.
Then again, it could all be some kind of appeal to the woman voter and we just wouldnt get it. (Yes, women think differently than we do)
I will say that the fact Kerry saved a pet rat assured me that the life of a rat has more value than a stable Iraq apparently. Or did I misundertsand something about "..troops leaving in six months if i become Pres."

I'm just glad there is no George Bush III.
They should have stripped onstage, rubbed vegetable oil over each other and gone to town. That would have gotten some attention.
