They'd just buy a pre-welded macaroni and use double sided tape to attach it to the "custom" pre-fab frame.
Indian Larry was an amazing bike builder, and true to the spirit of riding. I'm sure that he would not have wished to leave this planet any other way than standing up on his seat arms wide open.
