There were plenty of Dems who voted for Arnie who would rather cut off their left nut then even contemplate voting for Bush. It had to do with choices at the time, something that is not even remotly analogious to this election.

What's to dispute, Pickle? "During my service in the United States Congress, I took the initiative in creating the Internet."

If you wish to challenge this statement, then you need to discuss with other liberals on this board who immediately jumped on Bush saying the war on terrorsim is unwinnable. It's the context not the actual words, right?

I seem to remember that it had something to do with Power or Energy or Oil.

Deal. Here's the thread -- Tell me which liberals we're talking about who immediately jumped all over Bush so I know how much ice cream to buy when they come over to talk about it.

That is exactly what I was expecting from Arnold's speech last night... I was immensely impressed by the things he had to say though. I can honestly say that in my heart I am a Schwarzeneggarian Republican!

While Arny won't be actively campaigning for Bush his presence at the convetion will most definitly be felt in the CA primaries. Bush may not win it but then again most of you said Arny wouldn't be governor. Arny appeals to the immigrants which as you know in Ca are quite numbered. If Kerry ignores campaigning in ca thinking it's a lock he might just lose it.

He's repealing the Immigrants Getting Driver's License thing. That vote is lost. There IS NO WAY IN THE WORLD that Bush will win California.

You are dreaming.

Now, we wouldn't want to take one of your personal photos and make a mockery of it. You keep those safely tucked away in the family album, ok? Smiley: grin

Look out, Goat!

Bush take California? What are you smoking?
Leaving aside Bush's response to the whole energy crisis issue, Bush is exactly the opposite of what most Californians want, based on past elections.

Fiscal conservatism and and social liberality sell well here. Fiscally, Bush is a socialist, socially, a reactionary. Trust me, he doesn't stand a chance.

Arnold got the governorship by promising to balance the budget, while keeping his nose out of social issues. His party affiliation was not that relevant a factor.

How many socialist do you know cut taxes? And by reactionary do you mean responding, without the consent of europe, to the deliberate attack on the center of this nations economy and killing over 3000 to boot?

You are talking about California aren't you? And you're saying party affiliation doesn't play a factor in the governors race? LOL!!!

Responding to an attack implies you attack the people who did it. Bush's response is to attack someone he thinks he can beat.

IRAQ HAD NOTHING TO DO WITH 9/11

Yesterday's speeches were a fucking disgrace. Constant references to 'we don't need permission from Paris to defend ourselves' and such-like shit. If my neighbour steals my car, but he's bigger than me, Guess I'll just batter his other neighbour. That's the Dubya way.

Oh, and when economies are buoyant (as they are in a number of currently left-wing european states) , most social democrat governments have balanced investment in public services with reduction of direct taxes, but I wouldn't expect that to be on Drudge's web reports.

So I guess all those terrorist training camps in Iraq were really just missions of peace and love for allah. Are you that dense? Even the 911 commission confirmed members of the taliban meeting with iraq officials. Actually I think you know the truth and what you don't like is the fact that you've come down on the morally wrong side of the issue.

That's better.
(Coincidentally, it's true, but don't start getting hung up on facts at this stage in the day Virus)

Those karayzee Un-American Security Advisers and their "But Mr President, after 8 years of exhaustive espionage the CIA, the SIS and Mossad have failed to find links between Iraq and Al-Qaeda". Pinko ******** clearly.

Eh, Varus...you going against the party line?

Even Bush has said that Iraq had nothing to do directly with 911. Don't believe me? Ask gbaji how the liberal media tried to spin the definition of "is" or something.

Varuss, once again...you're a fucking idiot whose speech is derived from his gaping asshole.

He's correct. Gray Davis was such a fuck up that Lyndon Larouche could have ran against him and won.
