So I was in school this morning and I was walking past the commons area when I see on the ground, two 10 dollar bills, I look around to see if anyone has a string on it or if anyone is looking at me funny waiting for me to just squat down and try and pick it up. Well no one is so bend over and take it, I see that it is $20 dollars so I look around again and then put it in my pocket.
So I take about 3 steps and I just feel this tug on me saying I should do something about the money I found, so I turn around and head to the office. The assisnt principle is there so I ask him that if I ever found some money and turned it in, that at the end of the day if no one claimed it could I have it? He says yes so I hand him the money. Well anyways I tell my friend about it and he's pissed off because that money could have gone to his party he's having this weekend but I say it was the right thing to do.
Later that day I walk by the office and the teacher tells me the owner claimed so I thought damn! Well I found out later it belonged to my co-worker and she came up and thanked me.
So anyways I did what was right but now that I did it I wish I hadnt and just kept the money.
Damn you!!
