I got hooked on the Celebrity Showdown (they play Texas Hold 'em)on Bravo. Now I'm fascinated with the WSoP on ESPN. The game is interesting, but I find the players are REALLY interesting as they come from all walks of life (and then some!).

My wife is concerned, but told her not to worry, I've no plans to hit Vegas or Atlantic City anytime soon. Still, she threatened me with bodily harm if I even look at some of the online poker games.

Now, if only I can locate an online version of Texas Hold 'Em WITHOUT the actual gambling of money...I know, probably not.

Aadynn, yo bud, how goes it? Thanks for the site recommendations. I'll have to wait until I get home from work to check them out.

Things are going pretty well. I knew I was back home here when we had a family get together for some Maryland blue crabs. (I'm bracing myself for the forthcoming barrage of STD gags).

Job has a **** learning curve that's been a bit stressful. Looking down the road, I'm not sure if it's something I want to continue with long term - the people and the pay are great; it's that I'm feeling a bit out of my depth and I don't think it's gonna get any easier. Also, the commute is starting to suck (still not as bad as my old SF to Sillicon Valley commute, though).

Anyhoo, I'm probably gonna stick it out until the next product release and then hunt for something I'm more comfortable with. I'm getting too old for dreading to go into work and being stressed out all day.

Thank Bob for "Office Space" - it helps me put things in perspective (whether or not it's the correct perspective is another thing).
