What is the difference between ingenious and genious?Follow

#1 Aug 30 2004 at 5:45 PM Rating: Decent
I would have to assume that you can call somebody a genious, an idea can be genious or ingenious, but someone can't be an ingenious. They can be ingenious but they cant be a ingenious but they can be a genious?

Leave me out of your homoerotic fantasies, please. I wasn't in the military so I'm really not aware (nor need to be) of your bedroom games.

You are genius, how can you mispel a word that someone has already corrected.
#8 Aug 30 2004 at 6:01 PM Rating: Decent
So to say that an idea is genius would not make sense? You cannot describe a noun with a noun, unless by saying that you are actually comparing the two.

Sorry, I'm just trying to fit in. It seems that that's how the game is played here. If someone disagrees with you, or insults you, then you must fire back with something, not necessarily anything that is, funny, mature, or truthful.

Another difference is that I make me laugh.

Thank you, I had to copy that right away before you edited.

So let me get this straight. I said I was going home to enjoy the company of my family. You being the sick **** that you are twisted that, much like many that grace these boards, to mean I was going to have sex with my two year old daughter.

You state " If only you could find someone to ***"

I state "You could? If only you could find someone to @#%^."

You state "I don't have any 2 week old daughters like you."

Do you ever think before you speak or type? Are you insinuating your getting shot down by 2 week olds, and you'd have a better chance if you had one for your own. Of course, then you'd have two weeks to force your beliefs on to her/him.

Unreal;

"You can't get laid"
"Yeah, well, I don't have a two week old daughter"

Priceless!

What can I say? I just don't have the experience with the younger set like you do.

One might want to make sure they correctly spell "misspell" when critisizing others on their spelling.

Thanks for the tip, ******** I won't misspell that word again.

Seems you missed my point of misspelling words that someone has already corrected.

Thanks for the input, not really welcome though.

You could say nothing. That's what I would do if I was typing a little quicker than my brain works, after basically saying, like you did, that you can't get laid, but if you had a two week old daughter you could.

Wow. Way to miss the point here. I've never claimed to be a perfect speller. Which is why I don't attack other people for spelling errors. If I can figure out what they are saying, that's good enough for me.

I wasn't pointing out your misspelling. I was pointing out your hypocrisy. I don't give a rats *** if you misspell something. I'm certainly not going to lose sleep if/when I misspell something.

It's not about whether you'll misspell the word again or not. It's about accepting that no one is perfect and maybe to lighten up a bit. Apparently, you missed that one as well.
