Crap.. I see I left the porch light on again.
Canada is much more lit up than I'd have given it credit for. Apparently the place to be for some decent darkness is the heart of darkest (heh) Africa, the Australian outback or northern Siberia.

Southwest suburbs of the same here. At night, my son and I try to make out the constellations formed by the soft glow of the Dominick's, Shell and Target signs.
