I really don't see the argument against Kerry. Even if he didn't get shot at, or earn any of his medals, he was there, putting himself in harms way. That's more than we can say for a certain national guardsman. Even if Kerry had an anti war sentiment aftward, who better to recognize the futility of the conflict than someone who had been there? Point is he served, he did his duty, that does not take away his right to an opinion before, during, or afterward.
Oh, forgot to address the OP. I'm honestly not surprised, although if the connections are true, you'd think they would have covered better. I guess there is always a paper trail. This will be interesting.

They wont be able to prove it Karl Rove will fall on his sword before this happens, its the same dirty attack adds they shot at McCain in 2000, that was very similar in fact, Bush never condemned the adds he just said that he wasnt the one behind them, it just happened to be people who contributed heavily to his campaign that sponsered these adds.
