So I'm supposed to believe that Kerry was sooo important back in Vietnam that they just gave him medals for the hell of it? If he was that important his daddy would have gotten him out of going to Vietnam and let him pretend to be in the National Guard.

I'm just asking the question "Was Cheney getting head from Ken Lay in the White House during Energy Policy meetings?"

All us liberals are just asking the questino. Cheney could put an end to it immediately by releasing the records of those meetings, but he's gone to the Supreme Court to prevent that.

Where there's smoke there fire! Are you really comfortable with a gay Vice President who uses the White House for sexual trysts???

Well,
Not that the next US president could possibly be worse then the current (I'm giving the US a bit of credit here, I advise u not to go against it :P).

What would it matter if the president was gay and having sex from time to time at his workplace (I guess a couple of u men would love to have sex at the workplace from time to time.). As long as he's a good president, makes the right decisions and keeps political lying (the difference between promises made during elections and the things that he actually accomplishes) to a minimum.

I like how the biggest news of the week was an arguement about the past, and whether or not Kerry lied about being shot at.

Seems like it doesn't really matter. I mean, if you want to talk aout lying, we could talk present tense and this administration. That, I guess, would be too relevant.

my dos cents

Are you that moronic? Kerry mentions his 4 month service in Vietnam in just about every one of his speeches. He's made this, and continues to make this, an issue open for debate. So why shouldn't we research and get to the bottom of what really happened? I think it's funny that none of you are really contradicting the accusations i'm making you're merely attacking my credibility and the credibility of the source rather than the validity or falseness of the claim. Perhaps it's because you know Kerrys a pansy *** that cut and ran at the first possible action his ship might have been in.

Nothing like being so big an idiot to believe your party line exclusivly, Kerry served TWO tours on the SECOND tour he was the commander of a swift boat the SECOND tour lasted 4 and 1/2 months this is not the ENTIRITY of his service in that theater believe it or not serving in the ocean on a BIG boat still counts as service.

Exactly. It's a nasty hypocricy. Repubs can ***** and snivel about what may have happened to Kerry thirty years ago, yet if anyone says a word about Bush, they're branded terrorists. People need to get their priorities straight.

Ruffio,

A bit of advice when conversing with the ideologically challenged first and foremost you must understand that even they don't believe what they're saying. They know they're wrong and rather than make an attempt to acertain the validity or falseness of a statement they find it more convienent to curse and be vulgar. For some strange reason they think this unbridled rage for an opposing ideology will turn people to their way of thinking. So be on guard when the flames and attacks come and know that they are all commy pinko bastards =)

Yep, we just support stuff we don't actually believe in because...we're bored? We're getting payed to do it? We forgot to wear our aluminum foil hats and we've been brainwashed by aliens? Yeah, that's the ticket!

Basically...You're social class likes to categorize and lable people so they can feel like they're actually helping someone. Maybe it's because you feel guilty for obtaining, or inheriting, what you have. Rather than look at a real solution you would much rather throw as much of other peoples money at the problem with the hopes that something may work. Of course this is flawed because those that are successful generally have worked hard for what they've got. These successes then anger you're aristocratic nature because you feel they should be giving as much as you either are, or wish you were. It's actually a sad cycle but hopefully through humour I can help you see the flaws in that thought process. First and foremost you have to stop looking at, and treating, people as if they are a victim of circumstance.
