Check out Drudge on the oh so honest and trustworthy kerry

Quote:
TOUR OF DUTY author and John Kerry historian Doug Brinkley is rushing a piece for the NEW YORKER: to set-the-record-straight on Kerry's Christmas in Cambodia tale, the DRUDGE REPORT has learned.

Kerry has turned to author Brinkley for a "modification" after it was exposed that Kerry was not in Cambodia during Christmas of 1968, as he once claimed from the Senate floor.

The Brinkley piece for the NEW YORKER will now say that Kerry was not in Cambodia during Christmas, but rather in January, publishing sources tell DRUDGE.

Yeah and we're supposed to believe kerrys lies about being a war hero. Also just for the record when kerry said he was in cambodia 1968 during christmas taking shots from the cameer reuge
the cameer reuge didn't begin combat until 1972...strange no.

US troops were never in Caombodia, of course.

We also never bombed Laos, which is why when I was there, the main tourist souvenier was unexploded US ordinance.

I'm agreeing that he probably got the date wrong and then realized it and said "Hey, I think got the date wrong. It was around Christmass, not on Christmass"

If that's a lie, sure he was lieing.

Who cares. Just put Bush, Cheney, Kerry, and Edwards out of our misery and start the whole process over. That way both groups can come up with somebody worth voting for.

If you only have one trick, you might as well do it well.

I'd vote for Varus Sword...

That way, he wouldn't have to carry a gun and he'd have his own body guards.

Sounds like he distorted the truth to make his speech sound more dramatic at the time.

Regardless, he sold out everyone he served with for political gain.

And I don't need to read any books by any vets or whatever to make my decision on how I feel about him. His speech's that he gave when he came back are enough for me to gauge his personality.

Smashed,

How does it feel being a Kerry apologist? Do you know that Kerry used words like seared and life changing to describe that supposed christmas he was in cambodia in his senate testimony in the 80's. So how many major life events that you have that are seared into your memory that you happen to forget convienently for an election?

Your probably right. May was about 3 months ago, and I have slept quite a bit since then. Of course, I don't think I have been reading this forum for 3 months.

Varus, I have read your posts and for the record I identify with neither of the 2 political parties since all they do is run in circles and sling mud. It's not like a different President will change much anyway, other than miniscule things.

However, everything you posts just pisses me off for some reason. Maybe it's your name. I dunno, just getting that out there =)

Yeah, sorry, this was the name of my character in FF. Also, it's from Sealab 2021, in case you've seen it.

Anyway, your last post was better. It was so abrasive.

Hey,

You're right. I'm not really trying to be taken seriously. I'm a pretty laid back person. I am so happy that work is slow so I can finally post and feel the 'love' of the Asylum.

I read alot on this site about 'Sock Puppets', but I think that term is getting a little tired.

Perhaps, and maybe I'm baised because of my name, but we should(edit) refer to people as Cockpuppets from now on.

Chubbycockpuppets?

oh well, just a thought.
