It doesn't give the impression of lots of people with the same oppinion, it gives the impression of someone desperate to try to pass of a lie as having support.
It's over, Bush is toast, the Dems are going probably take the House back and almost certainly the Senate.

Let me again mention that the backlash from all of this looses BUSH votes, not Kerry.
Undecided voters aren't Republican Primary voters. What worked to fuc[b][/b]k over John McCain isn't going to work on anyone who isn't allready voting for Bush. It's also going to alienate a good deal of Bush supporters into not voting because of the smear tactic.

Rule #1 - All politicians lie.
Rule #2 - All decorated war hero's tell the truth.
Rule #3 - If you are a democrat only believe the decorated war heroes that support your candidate.
A good number of those Swift Boat Veterans are decorated war heroes, what makes them any less creditable than John McCain or John Kerry?
Each and everone of them has a political agenda. One groups supports yours and the other group supports your candidates opponent.
