attorneys on trial for crimes of terrorFollow

I heard something yesterday, I'm not sure of the accuracy of it so anyone else that has knowledge regarding this please feel free to clarify.

3 years ago the Bush administration offered video taped information regarding possible terrorists to the owners of the casino's in vegas. I've heard the owners refused these tapes for fear that if any of the people they spotted on the tapes actually did something they could be held liable.

If this is true doesn't that mean that these casino owners are more afraid of trial lawyers than they are of possible terrorists. lmao

The news as of yesterday was that they didn't want to raise the security levels because they thought a public perception that Vegas was a potential target would hurt tourism. It wasn't a liability issue.

I glancingly caught a story this morning saying that the FBI largely vindicated the mayor of Vegas, saying that he was never presented with evidence of a credible threat.

Seems there's allot of terrorist information from 3 years ago just coming out now.

IMO the Bush camp is just guessing where they might strike next in hopes their right. That way, if they are right, he can justify homeland security and the millions (Maybe billions) of dollars spent on this crap.

There may be another strike before election but I doubt it would be the actual terrorist doing it.

Here's yesterday's news story about it. I haven't seen anything agreeing with what I thought I thought I heard this morning so maybe I was wrong. Anyway, again, the fear was of losing tourism dollars not raging hordes of lawyers.

This is why Kerry doesn't stand a chance. This is the type of rhetoric that is prevalent throughout the democratic party. Now while this type of talk might create energy for their base they don't stand a chance in hell of getting that 15% undecided that don't actually believe Bush caused 911 and anything that may happen in the future can be attributed to him as well.
