So a presidential candidate speaking to leaders of other countries in anonymity is an acceptable and patriotic act? The only people Kerry should be discussing anything with is the american people to let them know where he can lead the country. Not behind closed doors with God knows who discussing what they're going to do once the current administration is gone.
1. John Kerry has spent 19 years on the Senate Foreign Relations Committee. I don't think it was unreasonable for him to speak with foreign leaders.
2. It is a well established fact that Bush is not very loved in most, if not all, foreign countries. I don't find it surprising that a number of foreign leaders would privately offer their support to Kerry.
3. While maybe it wasn't the wisest thing to publicly state that foreign leaders he can't name have expressed their support privately, I certainly don't find it treasonist.
