I am a registered Republican because they support the sanctity of life and the reading of the word of Christ in schools. When I prayed, it became clear to me that they were the only party who held Christ in their hearts and not just in their words.

Separation of Church and State is a modern construct. There is nothing to “look up” about it except some extreme interpretations of a single clause in the Constitution.
