SO here is another Muslim country; rich in oil and being run by murderous dictators.

Why don't we "liberate" these people? About as many people are tortured and killed by their government than in Iraq.
The difference is that they cooperate with our needs.

So the general populous their most likely hates us.
We HELP their government. I'd hate us too if I lived their.
...and wehn the new dictator was "elected" after a heavily rigged mockery of democracy, protests started..and the new dictator had them all beat down to bloody meat wads.

and waht did we do?
We congratulated Him on his "handling of the situation.

Hail Caesar!

We as a symbol of freedom and liberty in the world are drastically deteriorating.
Nothing new... just thought I'd share.

People that vote for Bush... I guess your OK with morality taking a backseat to wealth.

THis is waht divides the people of this world. The acceptance of this and the denouncement of it.

I didn't think there'd be many responses to this...... there is nothing to really say...... just shake your head about it and enjoy watching Fear Factor...

You're quite correct. Hypocrisy is rife in world politics today, and it's painful how many people are totally sucked in by blatant propaganda.

I think you have enough on your plate at the moment.

You have to consider how many western countries, including Germany and France that will benefit from this action, while the whole time being morally fibrous. Bush has put them in a nice spot, publically opposed to his actions but still in a position to reap the rewards.

Can we really leave the wealth of the middle east in the hands of these savages? What if the tides were to turn in 30-40 years and the middle east becomes the powerhouse of the world, what kind of treatment do you see them handing out to us ethical Christians?

I am not condoning the Bush’s actions in Iraq, but it is not all bad, there is certainly a case that can be made on his behalf. In the end, all western civilizations will probably owe a thank-you to Bush, and America as a country, for doing the dirty work ,and this will be a Thank-you that will never be delivered.

The only thing I would really be pissed about is the lies and deception of the American people. Although he needed the lies to make it all happen, so it was a bit of a catch 22 for him.

Just don't be too judgemental, running the most powerful nation in the world isn't easy. If America was being slapped around by one of these dictators, your opinion would change.
