That sounds about right to me as well, especially after his convention speech - that itself wasn't awesome; rather, it gave reasons why people could vote for Kerry instead of against Bush. Especially with some damn good twisting-the-knife lines such as the 'Do you want an energy policy controlled by American ingenuity or the Saudi Royal Family?' one.
