I'll be intrested in the Cycling, Fencing, and Soccer events, but that's about it at the moment.

I'm sure as the hype spools up I'll be looking forward to other things, but at the moment, I'm not.

"Anymore" would imply that I cared previously.

Last time I cared about the Olympics was when there was the potential for a free Big Mac in it for me.

I really don't care anymore either.

I used to when I was a kid, but now.....not so much.

I must admit that I feel pride when America whips some country's tail on some event, but that's about the extent of it.

we don't have that signature person we can ride in this olympics. It use to be how good our basketball team was, why Michael Johnson wore gold shoes, and how well Nancy Kerrigan stood up with a sprained ankle. Now we got dope dealing sprinters, 2nd tier basketball players ( not including AI ), and noone is intrested. We are more worried about security than promoting our athletes.

I dunno am i huge fan that re-schedules my life to watch the olympics? No.

Do i enjoy watching them? Yes.

I'll tell you why, its because of all the wierd stuff that happens every year:

Javelin throwing is a great example, your gauranteed that at least once one of those idiots that stand in the field in order to measure the length thrown will get hit by a javelin.

Boxing, Olympic boxing is a snooze fest but i remember one year when a man from an Asian country was boxing someone from either the United States or such and the Asian guy was gettting his *** handed to him and out of no where he busted out the kick boxing moves. This was awesome, sure it only lasted for 20 seconds before he was disqualifed from the fight.

Polevaulting is awesome hell i even have a video of why its awesome: Pole Vaulting Greatness.

No but really, aside from those few gems i enjoy the olympics, you get to see a lot of sports you normally dont get to see. Of course now its some crooked, commercial goliath with no humanity but if you fish around you can see some good sporting events.

I only enjoy the exciting events, like any martial art competitions or fencing, stuff like that. I really don't give a flying f'uck who wins, it's just fun to watch some of the games.

The real Olympic competition is to see who's best at hiding their steroid/performance enhancing drug/blood doping the best.

I prefer not to watch the Olympics and just wait until the best parts with people getting hurt are released afterwards.

I'll be watching the diving, in hope someone does a Greg Luganis and tries to brain themselves on the 10 meter board.

Oh and there are usually some hot chineese and eastern European chicks.

I have always enjoyed the summer games. The gymnastics and volleyball competitions are among my favorites, but I really do find most with the exception of kayaking of the events interesting.

Do I care about the Olympics? No, not really. The only thing that would interest me in the Olympics are all of the buff male swimmers. Grrrooowwwwlllll. But I don't know, those guys are fun to watch, but I seriously find intelligence sexier nowadays - Now, if only Brad Pitt was a physicist - Oooh yea.

I used to care about Olympic Basketball and Hockey. They were fun to watch. Not anymore. I hate having the "pros" there. It takes away from it. So what if our college kids get their *** kicked and don't come home with a medal? At least they'd want to be there.

Were I a pro player there would be no way I would go. To much risk to your livelyhood.

Ah you beat me to it. Michael Phelps is indeed the American to watch. He qualified for the Olympics in 9 swimming events and just missed out on two other events. He probably wont equal Spitz's acheivements in gold medals, but he can win more total medals than anyone in history.

Im always interested in swimming since i grew up around it. Wrestling is always a great event to watch, if they would ever televise it, because the competition is so fierce and divided.

I think it's free total coverage this year on NBC, CNBC, MSNBC, Bravo and the other 19 networks that NBC owns.

In the US anyway.

They use their pro players why can't we? And to even goto the olympics you have the option to say yeah I wanna go or no I don't.

They asked Kobe,Shaq,TM,KG and several other's but none of them wanted to go. The people who see there "want" to be there representing the USA.

I'm sorry I don't pay attention to swimming really. Not my bag. I meant something everyone in america would like. How many black people you see intrested in swimming? That's not the issue though. Your right Phelps is pretty good and he is the only person I see that America can look too.

Yeah, their agents told them it would be good for endorsement deals.

Do you really think Iverson said "I can't wait to go to the olyimpics *****!"

You don't think AI doesn't have enough money? He doesn't need endorsements. He has his shoes, he raps( LoL ). He is there because he wants to be.
