I can stay on topic watch...

Stop your whining and complaining over a bunch of Republicans trying to make sure the story and information got explained correctly, not with some left wing liberal media slant. So what's the probelm with asking them to sign an endorsement? If Kerry's did the same thing we would find a way to blame it on CLinton getting a ******** in the white house.

If Kerry did the same thing it'd be on Fox News every fifteen minutes for about three weeks.

I was watching Fox News today, for laughs mainly, and they had FOUR "guests" that all refered to him as a "Socialist". Of course the "hosts" would say "oh, come on now! You crazy kidder! but you know he does want to steal your money and let brown skinned men ride your sons asses! Stop!!"

How in the bowels of Christ does being forced to sign an endorsement assure correct explanations?

If they asked to screen copy before publication, that would be understandable, but no self-respecting journalist would sign that.

I'm not referring to the drooling pro-Bush or pro-Kerry partisan hacks - I mean journalists.

The part I find funniest about this is that. a week or two ago, Rush Limbaugh was going on about how great some article was that described the Bush Counter-Kerry team. They were putting plants with recording/transmitting devices into his speeches with a team of flying monkeys or whatever back at HQ so, should Kerry say that ham is one of his favorite lunchmeats, they can have a statement issued to the AP before Kerry's speech is even over saying that in April of 1989 Kerry prefessed a preferance for turkey.

Then this comes with the Pubbies trying to screen any non-Bushie press out. Hilarious.

The article Smashed refers to amount to nothing more than a liberal democratic rant. Jeff the author of the article has written more than one article regarding this:

Quote:

Lawyer Loses Bid for Open Cheney Rally
Complaints heard
Others— especially Democrats— bristled at limiting an appearance by the nation's second-in-command at a public building to people who pass a pro-Bush litmus test.
"I am furious. This reminds me of communism. I am appalled," said Annie Webb of Albuquerque, a registered Democrat who called the Journal to complain. "This is supposed to be a free country. I think that's un-American. Our president and our vice president ought to be ashamed of themselves. It's insulting."
Jim Brown, who has lived in Rio Rancho for 20 years and is a registered Democrat, was also angry.
"I resent the school that my taxes paid for being used for an event that's restricted to people who sign a pledge to the Republican Party," said Brown. "I've got a problem with that."
The RNC rented the gymnasium of the Rio Rancho Mid-High School for $500— the standard rate.
Darren White, Bernalillo County sheriff and Bernalillo County chair of the Bush-Cheney '04 re-election effort, said the Bush pledge requirement is a symbol of the political reality of the times.
White said the pledge made sense to weed out people who might shout Cheney down or otherwise disrupt his speech.
Shi said the Bush pledge requirement is not a national policy of the RNC.

Imagine that a bunch of democrats whining about not being invited to a republican fund raiser. And when lib's don't get what they want they sure know how to get an attorney on the case quickly.

Talk about a stretch...Hitlary's audience are well screened and bused to her speeches but I don't hear you all whining about that.

I wasn't being anti-semetic. I was substituting some words there to see how what you said sounded.

Yeah it's great when someone robbing a store protects themslevs so well they kill the cashier. Or when someone is upset at their wife they protect her till she's dead. Ot when their kids find the gun and protect themselves to death.

Anyway, I'd cut my left nut off and mail it to you if you could prove you owned a gun. I'm that certain you're full of **** about it.

Or even better you're working a late shift and someone breaks into your house and threatens to rape and kill your wife and children and low and behold she pulls out her beretta and pops the intruder full of holes.

Often if the criminal thinks there's a chance of being shot the likelihood of them committing the crime drastically decreases. Not to mention that the founding fathers carried arms and used them to free themselves from a repressive government. And you know history never repeats itself so we shouldn't have to worry about that problem again.

My comment had nothing to do with gun control.

It was about you being a big enough doofus to threaten people on the internet with real life physical violence.

The spectre of you in the parking lot of Smash's work place, screaming threats and obscenities at the closed windows, spittle and froth flying from your lips as you wave your gun wildly around was simply the picture that sprang to mind.
