The Heck with M. Moore. What about Aflek?Follow

#1 Jul 27 2004 at 7:15 PM Rating: Decent
Just wondering what people thought about the Ben Aflek and Bill O'Reilly interview.

It was nice to see a young man that answered questions honestly and straight forward. The exchange was very friendly and there was a mutual respect that happened because of the interview.

Now on to the heavy weight fight. Smiley: grin

I'm not a huge O'Reilly fan, but Moore can't handle pressure. Hell, Conan O'brian made him sweat and stutter, as did the fine people at Michaelmoorehatesamerica lol.

Straight. **** off and let me post. It's not true, it's all in good fun. Now go away.

I thought he handled himself fine on conan. I think he sweats on stages like that because he's a fat pig (smart man, love his work, but still a fat pig).

I thought that the O'Reilly interview was pretty good. There wasn't really any kind of shouting match like I expected.

The only thing that kind of irritated me about the interview was Moore's insistance on asking "Would you sacrifice your child blah blah blah?" I actually think O'Reilly's response of "I would sacrifice myself" is a valid one.

As someone who chose to join the US military it was my decision to do so, not my parents. It is part of the job that I signed up to do. I knew that there was a chance that I would go somewhere that I didn't agree with, but it is my job and I will do it to the utmost of my ability no matter what. If my parents don't like it, or I don't like it, say so at the polls. Don't ask stupid hypothetical questions.

I do have a diferent view of Moore now after watching the interview. I think that he, while definently a liberal, is one sarcastic son of a bitch and likes to see the reactions that he can draw out of people.

I don't like him or his views, but I can respect a man who bucks the system and makes people think outside of their little box.

Hey, how about having the courage to respond to my post instead of being a pussy and proving your ignorance by just rating.

What the hell are you ******** about? Someone rating you down?
Who gives a **** about that anyway? Am I missing something on this rating thing?

Didn't see the interviews, but the only person in the media I like less than Rush is O'Reilly.

I liked the part:

Moore: Bill, if I made a mistake and I said something or did something as a result of my mistake but it resulted in the death of your child, how would you feel towards me?

O'Reilly: It depends on whether the mistake was unintentional

Moore: No, not intentional, it was a mistake

Exactly how do you get an intentional mistake? Wouldnt it make it no longer a mistake if you did it intentionally?

Apparently the only forum with posters on Allakhazam's that do not use or care about the rating system is the Assylum, everyone else it seems uses it like a stick.

and what about Aflek? He learn to act yet?

Oh be quiet and go away. This has nothing to do with a damn rating. This has everything to do with having the courage to spout your beliefs and let someone know about it.

If someone had just posted "You are an idiot. Rate down." cool, but they didn't. Now get the hell off my thread. You bring nothing of use to it.

HIJACK! OMG HIJACK!

What's the deal with Jamie Foxx playing Ray Charles? I mean, the guy just died a little while ago and they made a movie about his life.

Good point bhod. I did a double take myself when I heard that. If it was a mistake it was a mistake. If you intentionally mislead the American people and got caught that is a fuck up. Smiley: laugh

First of all dipsh*t: You're the one who brought ratings into it. You brought it up.

I asked a couple of questions about it because A) I don't understand why so many people get their panties in a bunch over ratings and B) You were ******** about someone rating you down and I didn't understand why you gave a sh*t about it.

Secondly, I'll post in your thread if I want to. I don't need your approval to post.

Finally, if someone wants to rate you down because of your posts, that's their perogative. They don't need to explain why.

Go back to the FFXI forums. This forum already has enough dumbf*cks in it. No need for you, the job is filled.

Damn, so I did. Guess I got served. Smiley: rolleyes

And here I thought this was the forum where people weren't afraid to speak their minds. Damn you are sensitive man. Grow a pair and then come back when you can be productive. The excuse "Because I can" doesn't mean shit.

I don't put up with it from my 10 year old and I sure as hell am not going to put up with it from you. Learn to think for yourself and quit spouting sh
it that every other kid spouts on these forums. Now why don't you go back to the FFXI boards and cry to someone who cares.
