Cool hi-jack - term limits to Gay bashing...

The U.S. Constitution is set up with the four year term with an amendment to limit it two terms (BTW the constitution is a good read - some of you may want to). It works pretty well for the reasons mentioned already.

My issue with the attempt at the marriage amendment is more to do with the document than how i feel about Gays. Every amendment before this crap attempt has served to empower citizens - protect them from governmental intrusion and abuse - protected and given rights (NOT TAKEN THEM AWAY).

Suddenly the "no big government interfering with individuals" conservatives want to amend the constitution to restrict individual liberties???? WTF!

Seems like conservatives don't want the government regulating anything... Except maybe abortion, and oh yeah, what books our schools can put in the library, and oh yeah Gay marriage, and of course they are working on internet content as well...

Me too...I'm just jealous 'cause our thrift stores are soooo picked over that it's impossible to find anything good.
