Anyone looking forward to some of the skit's from Saturday Night Live? Looking at the two main candidates, there is a lot of material there to use. ~grin~ I think this is going to be better than the Bush/Gore election.
This lot is ripe for the harvest.

Actually, he left out "sucks" and "now".
I have to admit they do suck most of the time, but they really do shine during an election year. Of course, thats only 3 to 4 months out of a 48 month time frame. They should be a lot better this year though, as I said earlier, they have a lot of material to work with.

yeah SNL has been going downhill for the last couple of years. mad tv is much, much better now.
For election-year laughs I stick to The Daily Show.
Yep Daily show is the place I go for ha-ha's. I haven't watched SNL since Will Ferrell left, so I can't really comment on if it sucks or not, but I have heard more negative things than positive.
As for Mad TV, I can't stand that show. I don't know what it is about it, but it just irks me.

The Daily Show has got to be the best show out there, but when you spend your cable money on DSL, SNL is all you have left.
Yea, I agree, MadTV does blow pole rather fiercely. I hate that show. I watch it every once in a while, and I wonder to myself how anyone could find this funny.
SNL hasn't been the same since Ferrell left. They have a good sketch every few weeks, but it's rare at best.
The Daily Show is hilarious. That is a show that I find myself laughing out loud constantly at. John Stewart is great.

SNL has lost most of their legendary people like Ferall and Farley and such.... I wish Comedy Central would still run the old shows when the really good cast was on... those are much funnier than MAD TV.

Well, at the rate things are going. Give them a few weeks and they will be out on DVD.
