There's a new Subway commercial with some Mexican looking/sounding dude who says he like rap. After extoling the virtues of the Atkins friendly nature of the sammich, he asks a question which for all the world sounds like...

"Can I rub one out for you?"

The only thing worse would be Jarred leering at you from the TV while squirting some mayo on the bread...

He actually says, "Can I rap one up for you?" but he sorta mumbles in that Latino street style so it really sounds like he's wanting permission to shoot some baby batter on your grill. Or maybe that's my latent Latin homosexual fantasies of Skeeter cornholing me surfacing...

Yuck, I know what you mean.

I believe subway has some very dark secrets. They must be trying to give the franchise cult status.

Remind you of anything? Soon they'll be handing out bracelets with the kid's meals. Not to mention that the Dr's. Association that runs the thing has jumped on board of the whole ATKINS phenomenon, quite possibly the stupidest diet ever invented. The reason you lose weight is due to all the meat causing your body to lose a bunch of its water weight. It makes me sick to think of all the cholestorol being put into the totally oblivious' bodies...

Nevertheless I'm always up for a footlong stake and cheese.

That's right, I can pack down a footlong.

It's probably best if you don't. But those words actually came out of my mouth in a subway before, it created a very awkward atmosphere.

Wow, I wish all men kept sandwiches in their pants...I'd probably end up being alot less hungry.

I don't swing That way, but I do happen to have said enough poorly thought out remarks to make any gay man think twice about jumping out of his closet.

Do you mean the restaurant, or a dimly lit underground train car full of hobos and tranvestites?

Geez, this is the second one I have read that wasn't worth reading. Now I know why they call it the Asylum! ~shiver~ Thankfully, I don't watch TV any more. Except for when Season 7 of Stargate SG-1 start playing on Fox.

Yeah, I just had to put my .02 cents in. ~grin~ Then I had to read through and answer for a second time. Well, nobody said humanity was intelligent. ~grin~

If you saw the commercial you'd think it was worth reading, trust me. Nothing gets your attention like hearing, "Want me to rub one out for you?" on national TV during prime time...
