Do you?

I notice the "OG" posters are starting to coadjute, and this pleases me.

We all seem to be putting our differences aside to fight a greater evil. Yes, an evil that is even greater than my stupidity; that of the ffxi posters.

This is a good change, much can come from this amalgamation.

Would any of you feel a loss if you didn't reply to a poster unless you remembered him/her from the ubb forums? May sound harsh, but I sure wouldn't. The people whose posts I read have stayed pretty consistent through all of my years posting with you folk. You've been with me through my worst of times, and my not-as-bad-as-the-worst-of-times-but-not-all-that-great-either times.

Stick in there and remember this:

We have to put up with their idiocy for this interregnum, while they have to put up with their idiocy for the rest of their pathetic lives.

If that doesn't give you a warm feeling inside, I don't know what will.

How about we move a little farther forward. I wasn't around for the uBB forums, but I still wanna be part of the fun. Maybe we include all the regulars from the OOoT. At least then we get the few straglers like me, Yanari, trickybeck, etc.

By the way, did you know Preparation H gets rid of those pesky bags under your eyes as well?

That doesn't make any f'ucking sense. How can EQ be dead when thousands of people still play it? And how is that even relevant to the topic?

I'm sure there are some kangaroos who would enjoy your d1ck, but we don't. Have fun in the Outback.

I think he meant more like the 'Disco is dead' sense of the phrase.

Oh, they'd stay amused. That's not the issue. Skeet and To3+em alone could have hours of fun just counting each other's toes and playing with each other's hai...um, nails.
That said, I don't think verbally thwacking newbies will improve their intelligence or impede them from posting. My criteria? Didn't work for Katie.

Does this apply to the FFXI posters that aren't idiots? I mean, I agree that there's a lot of really stupid FFXI people, but I don't think I'm one of 'em. I at least try and make the majority of my posts relevant or insightful...

Doubt that you can stop my lurking about regardless....

Quality of posts is probably a very important criteria in determining intellect but I am not sure people coming from a certain group should be generalized as such. I'll admit I play FFXI but I hardly migrated to this forum. I began posting in all forums simultaniously about 7 months ago. Do I consider myself intelligent, yes. Six years of undergrad double major and one year of grad school down I think I could make that assumption about myself. Truth be told, I think a lot of stuff that is posted here is crap, yes, but the retorts to most of this crap is even more crap. So basically its just one big pile of ****. Point is take what people post for what it is. If they are consistently moronic (or moranic as some ppl around here like to say) then maybe they are some 15 year old that whacks off to little kitty cats running around a computer screen. We all know each others board personalities I think we should stray from generalizations and just start calling people out. It'd be so much more fun.

Yes, there was a time when that was how it was done. New people would read the forum, make a few posts here and there to break themselves in, and eventually become a regular poster, adding real content to the forum. The favorite posting style for noobs lately seems to be "Quantity over quality".

If the choice was mine, I'd gladly get rid of the few good posters that came with the lot of morons from ffxi. You know, sacrifice the few for the good of the whole?

I'm sorry, you'd rather I stuck to monosyllabic grunts so your whole family can enjoy my posts? Sorry, I don't cater to mongoloids. I'll try to keep a funny avatar up for them to enjoy though.

What does dictionary.com say about "coadjute"? Even online spell checkers (which I'll admit I use, sue me for wanting to double check my spelling) doesn't know the word. In short, you're a ******** try adding something of worth to the discussion next time.

Yeah, incase you haven't noticed, I do call people out. You know that Fignewton guy? He sucks.

All "flames" aside, yes; this is just a forum. But that's also the point I'm trying to make, it used to be a good forum.

I was on the UBB forums and all that good stuff. Hey Mr EQ is dead boy, news flash for you. This site isn't only about EQ anymore, EQ isn't dead, and furthermore that statement is about as relevent to this thread as me saying "My cat's breath smells like cat food" would be. You're a moron, go drool somewhere else.

The hypocrisy of this thread astounds me, as yours, my friend, knows no bounds. How many times are YOU going to post the same incessant drivel, or, what you refer to as schlok? Or perhaps I already have my answer, in that you're going to post as many as the thesaurus on dictionary.com allows. You keep reminiscing about the old days, the hey-day, the glory of the forum past, and yet you refuse to budge or adapt in any way to the new surroundings, if, in fact they are new, as I suspect it is much the same. You know what happens to creatures that cannot adapt? They die. Maybe you should consider this possibility, not so that you may fit in, but because you should really consider dying.

When are the rest of you going to realize, that every time you respond to a post like this, you are only adding to the septic tank that is Skeeter, as I am doing right now.

Maybe if you were more of a "smarty" pants and less of an "evil-est" pants, you'd have seen the irony of my statement smacking you in the goddamned head and screaming "Look at me...woo-hoo!"
