Anyone have HBO? They are doing a marathon of The Ali G Show tonight. My stomach hurts from laughing so much. It's this British comedian who does fake characters who interview people who think he's legit. He gets top people too. He interviewed **** Thornberg and asked him about the definition of legal and then illegal. Then he asked what barely legal was, as in the **** film. Thornberg had no idea what to say. Now this is comedy! He asked Boutros Boutros Ghali what the funniest language was. He asked some catholic priest if Jesus was real or just his dad come by on Christmas eve.

He interviews a CIA pres liason and asks him if they've defended against Al Queda driving a train full of explosives into the White House. When the guy tells him there's no train tracks he says "Yeah, but what if they been buildin them. You know, underground like!"

Disclaimer:

To make a long story short, I don't take any responsibility for anything I post here. It's not news, it's not truth, it's not serious. It's parody. It's satire. It's bitter. It's angsty. Your mother's a *****. You like to jack off dogs. That's right, you heard me. You like to grab that dog by the bone and rub it like a ski pole. Your dad? Gay. Your priest? Straight. **** off and let me post. It's not true, it's all in good fun. Now go away.

Is it kind of like "Crossballs"?

That show cracks me up. It has comedians that I hope any of my friends would recognize pose as "experts" on what ever subject the show happens to be on. One was trying to advocate that Marijuana should be legal, he said he does "research" on himself and several other children of his neighborhood, then he tells them all to drive around the block to test the effects.

He was arguing with a lady and the gist of it was that he is a better driver when he smokes because he is more paranoid, looking side to side because he thinks everybody is after him, therefore more aware of his surroundings. Another point he made was that he drives really slow under the influence.

It's fun to see these people get all riled up.

Aw, damn it! And here I thought cancelling my cable for summer would benefit me! No more Adult Swim, and no more Ali G, what a crock.

He just asked Buzz Aldrin if he was jealous of Louis Armstrong walking on the moon before he did. I love this guy. And I loved his whole interview of Newt. I never really considered that the Republicans favored the hershey highway up to now.

Crossballs has been a riot so far. Watching the real panelists face when they pot advocate was talking about hanging out in the basement with the teens from the neighborhood, conducting "experiments" was priceless.

I guess I'll have to check out Ali G too.

There's a few MP3 files on the Boyakasha web site.

I still love his interview when he asked a sour-faced feminist "Is dere any way I iz able to get me Julie to hexperiment wid feminism" and his famous TV Quiz show "Who wants to win a ounce"

It's good to see America finally appreciating British comedy which is definitely the best in the world. I was wondering if anyone has seen 'The Office'? I believe it was shown on BBC America and won an award in the states a few months back.

Hehe, Ali G started over here, but got famous so quickly that all the politicians etc eventually knew who he was. He studied at Cambridge at the same time I was there, though I didn't know him.

Here is an extract with a senior UK Judge:

Quote:
Ali : Do you think women should be on juries?
Pickles : Oh yes, of course.
Ali : What about when they got the painters in?
Pickles : I'm sorry?
Ali : What about when it's rag week? How can they be thinking straight, serious! Serious, my woman, she doesn't know what's going on, guilty *everyone is guilty when it's her time, everyone is guilty, I do something small - GUILTY! You should be chopped, whatever.
Pickles : I don't honestly think you could start asking people intimate questions and say "no, you can't do this."
Ali : Exactly, this is why you should not have women on juries.

I loved when he asked Mohamad Al Fayad (guess it was him): "Is it true you actually got someone who scratches your balls?"
