Yes because we all know that marijuana is such a killer!
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

When people are clearly spiking with angel or opiates (Is havachip brain dead already?) people die.

You get tired of watching autopsies or reading coroner reports where kids "Only had a spliff" or "just dropped an 'e'" and their blood is laced with Angel/Horse/Ope/etc etc
Tried undressing a 14 year old's corpse when their death throes are so violent they rupture spinal discs?

About 12% of drug deaths are from folks using laced 'safe' drugs.

Asshat

And about 99.9% of all percentages put up on this board are pulled directly from the poster's ass (maybe rupturing the spinal disks in the process).

And I don't care if you work in the Medical/Healthcare Industry. You are FOS.

Ya know, I always gotta stick my nose in these types of threads.

If it was legal, then quality could be controled, so we wouldn't have to have these types of mixups.

Other then that, yea man it was laced. Without a doubt.
Get a more trusted supplier, or just don't hang with those people if they do this more then once. That **** ain't right to do to someone and not warn them 1st.

"Spiked with a$$," eh? That’s......... a different perspective on it.

How many times a week does a thread like this come up and the flame wars rage on? I learned I should really stay out of it because you can't teach the willfully ignorant.

your pot was not laced. let me repeat that, your pot was not laced.

*no one* who claims to sell normal weed will give you laced weed at the normal weed price. if they put extra stuff in your weed it costs the dealer money. there is just simply no reason for them to put it in. in all likelyhood you just smoked a ******** of high quality bud. if it was chronic then 6-7 bong rips worth is a very large amount. i just smoked a tiny bit of resin and a bit of shake from chronic buds and im ****** out of my mind. this isnt even a bowl. it barely even covered the filter all laid out. 6-7 rips would kill you.

alot of good weed can make you feel crazy. i once convinced myself i was a puppet (being controlled by me, the puppet master). you *can* get closed eye visuals with marijuana.

also... marijuana does *not* kill brain cells. alcohol, on the other hand, does. alcohol is vastly worse for you than marijuana, especially if you vaporize it. for those who dont know vaporization is when you heat up THC in a vaporizer (can make one from a lightbulb, or buy one) it will become vapor at a lower temperature than the rest of the plant burns. thus its possible to get high without inhaling any smoke, and thus not causing any damage to the lungs.

The other possibility is that it was much higher quality than you're used to.

Yes, it can make that much difference.

Yanari and AH are right...it was just good bud.

Stories of people lacing drugs are BS. I have extensive experience buying, selling, and using many types of drugs. I have never had "laced" drugs.

AH is also right in that, why would someone GIVE AWAY extra drugs?

Doesn't make sense.

Isn't it always one of those "I had this friend" or "My cousin told me" kinda stories?

oh, you also may have smoked salvia (which is legal) with your marijuana. you probably didnt have enough to break through (IE get the hallucinations going. there is a certain point in how much you smoke where the effects go from pretty much nothing to open eyed hallucinations) but i hear that if you just smoke salvia (without beaking through) along with weed it can cause some weird effects.

The other night at a friends house we were smoking out of a bong, which I had only done a handful of times before. I only had about five or six hits. I had smoked quite a bit more than this before, and hold always felt fine, never paranoid.

Ok, see here? He didn't buy the weed; he just smoked it at a friend’s house. Someone could have VERY easily laced it.
Now I agree, dealers wouldn't sell laced **** cuz the cost to them is phenomenal. But from what I read he was at a friend’s house with everyone pooling their bud for a big 4 man hookah. That **** is easy to lace and I've had a few smoking buddies back in the day lace it too.

Edit: 4 muy god speelng

yeah, I was at a party once and some fucktard little redneck didn't bother to inform me till after the joint that he'd laced it with coke. I was quite pissed off, I fail to see the attraction to that drug.

That led my policy of only smoking out when I got to see the jay being rolled or rolling it myself.

It's a damn shame I had to go and quit cause of these stupid drug laws and my need for a real job, I deal with idiots a lot better when I'm wrapped in my fluffy green cloud.

Hmm... Well, I'm normally the last person to say this, but I don't think advising you to quite using pot was a bad idea. Nor was it "off topic".

Marijuana is not horribly damaging in relation to most other drugs, however, when taken in large amounts over a long period of time (years), it has a cumulative effect on the system. The symptoms of that accumulation *are* paranoia, shakes, and hallucinations.

What this means is that your body has progressed from "casual mj smoker" to "seriously f'ed up individual". It's a *really* good sign that you need to stop smoking weed. If you continue, those episodes will increase in regularity, and you will start seeing more adverse side effects from the drug use.

I'm a strong advocate for legalizing a whole variety of drugs. That does not mean that I advocate people using them to excess. If you are getting that kind of effect from weed, then you have used too much for too long. You're now starting to get the first psychotic effects. It'll only get worse from here on out. Unless you want to keep having that sort of experience, and you want to end up with the IQ of a typical house pet, I'd seriously consider stopping.

But that's just my advice. You go ahead and ***** up your brain all you want...

Yes, Pickle. I'm happy now.

See? Smiley: smile

Gbaji, I've been partaking off and on since I was 15. I'm not going to mention how long ago that was, but it's been more than 20 years. The only time I ever experienced what the OP did was when I partook of some pot that was much higher quality than I was used to.

Now of course half the regular posters here may consider me a babbling idiot, but I'm actually quite functional, not speech impaired, don't have the shakes, don't hallucinate, have the IQ that at least rivals your average house cat.

Maybe you're talking about what may happen to a person who smokes from morning 'til night, year after year (and yes, I know there are those people), but the average user doesn't fall into that category.

Thank you, gbaji.

Anyone that takes any sort of anti-drugs stance on this board tends to get attacked.

I'm sure many of you can handle your pot with no adverse effects, but I've seen many people who became dependant and are now serious fuck ups-in-life.
