How much does your household bring home a year? I know it just sounds nosy, but it isn't really something you can ask your friends/co-workers, and I am just kinda curious about the range of incomes. If you want, you can also list your occupation. Oh, and please list the area of the country that you live in, since income varies because of it.

You could at least start out on good faith and say your money and area.

This does not include my freelance side work because it fluctuates yearly.

You're right, I forgot, my apologies.

Around $55-60k, it varies depending on overtime. I am a heavy machinery parts specialist for a steel mill in Alabama.

Insurance agent...office only been open 2 years so we're just now out of the red, only made around 30 last year but this year it should be up around 50 and by the 3rd year it should be around 75, thank god for renewals. I also have a small farm where sometime I grow 4 acres of strawberries or corn. Corn's easier because it doesn't take as long or as much care.

We're a 6 figure household (yeah, if you count the cents, chuckleheads.) My wife and I both work, and we live quite comfortably. I am a subject matter expert in call center technologies and she's an analyst at a newspaper. It's a decent wage in the upper midwest.

Combined I'd say we make around 110K CDN per year, my husband and I. He is a project manager for a US company (he works out of our home) and I teach and do research at a University. We are doing well, just purchased a new home and have our first child on the way.

Single income household because it's just me and my son. I make ~40k+ between my job as a commercial landscape estimator and some side work. It's been ample enough to afford a decent ranch house in suburbia. This fall we take Jophiel Jr's mom in for child support so that'll add to the kitty.

All in all, I've got a house, car, I get my bills paid, food in the fridge, insurance, etc plus some extra left over for non-essentials so I could be doing considerably worse.

Chicago suburbia, by the way.

Bhod,

Hang in there. One year, when I was a student I made 8K for an entire year. I am now paying 20K worth of student loan debt too. It's nice to be getting a paycheck though. =)

In college still, so I'm dependant on parents.

Don't know exactly what they make, but their combined income is somewhere in the $120k range.

Personally, I pull in about 3k per year from parttime jobs.

yes Bhod don't worry you will get your big break... it's just tough getting your foot in the door. My first few years of college was the worst because I was so broke from paying tuition and only being able to work a part-time job. Hell sometimes I could not even afford to eat.

Between my jobs as a Realtor and CNC Machinist I will pull in around 80k this year. My wife is a Histo Tech at a local Hospital and makes around 35-40k. All in all we're doing quite well this year, we own a cape cod style home and both drive a new Suv/Truck with a baby due in January living in Michigan.

Could be worse but it would be nice to have a life again. hehe

I work as a Financial Analyst in Los Angeles and pull in 55k. Although with the cost of living here it might as well be minimum wage.

Well, seeing as how all of us own computers, and play computer games, and have the free time to post on this forum...

...I'd say we're not exactly the demographic that is in desperate need of an administration change.

Most people that are struggling to make ends meet do not have the luxary of lounging around an Everquest message board pontificating all day.
