Just seems pretty unlikely.

Even if you're a 10-1 favorite to win every game, it'd be a bad bet to think he'd win 30.

I think their screeners slipped up and let someone too smart on. Or they did it on purpose. Either way, Jeopardy doesn't just let on the smartest people of who apply. They pick people who will be comfortable under a spotlight or photogenic. From what I've heard, getting a very high score on the test by no means guarantees you'll get on the show.

A member of Brigham Young University's College Bowl team in the 1990s, Jennings writes and edits literature questions for the National Academic Quiz Tournament.

Aha! That's explains it.

That being 30-1 to beat two other people in a contest of random questions is almost impossible.

I never could stand that smug motherfucker.

I suspect that, at the end of the day, he goes home to a cute little pound-him-in-the-*** house in the hills. I refuse to believe that guy is straight.

Connery: "Buck-Futter!"
Trebec: "I have no idea what that means."
Connery: "Oh I think you do, Trebec, I think you do."
