Pat, not everyone is a hedonist, and pleasure can be taken in many alternate ways. Consensual sex is a calculated risk, and so are drugs, but I think you're oversimplifying when you argue that people (even teenagers, who are not yet fully developed) do something just because they're told not to, and that warning them against something by stating your opinion of it (stupid, for example) will send them running in the opposite direction.
