Read my edit as I didn't finish. Naming a candidate besides Perot is irrelevant, it happened and therefore there is a precendence.

Anyhow, having a free speech under the rights of the constitution and just having free speech are two different things. You're saying free speech and free running should be allowed to even the Aryan Nation, however there is an amendment to the constitution that is strictly against what the Aryan Nation stands for.

Basically you have free speech within the lines that are already drawn, which it is just assumed that that is what free speech is. Or we can split hairs.

here I just copied it.

I'm not trying to compare them, what I'm trying to say is that while we have the right to form almost any political party we want, it doesnt mean that we ar going to be able to do it. (The comparison was to illustrate the process, not the partys, parents were current government and the cild was any upstart political party)

The senario was just that, the Government says here, you can do this, and this and this, so long as you abide by this stipulation, and this, knowing full well that some of those just aren't going to happen.

I'm not saying ***** and communists have anything more in common than the problem of getting onto ballots, and getting people to accept them. The ***** are a poor example as their party was inflammatory to start with, however its the only one that popped right to mind.

communists don't have the problem of getting into ballots, communism will eventually take over, it will overthrow the joke of a democracy we see in the USA, in most of europe and south america, wether the bourgoisie gives up and stops being able to revoloutionise their means of production, or wether there is a violent uprising, it will happen, ballot boxes are just another thing for the capitalists to hide behind, but it will all fall.

I haven't been so forunate as to see a communist on a ballot that i recognized. Only met a few communist party members, and I'm sorry to say they were rather radical people, not in the political sense but in the more primal Charles Manson sense. The party itself is interesting enough that I've read some of the pages in your sig, but taking over the US? (Not by force I know) That's going to be a long term goal. First you have to get Americans to accept even the minimal socialistic structure needed to do that, and thats been tough to do. Maybe in 100, 200 years or so, but it won't matter to me, I'll be dead.

Smiley: laugh Should have known by the icon and the link in your sig. If I recall correctly, true communism is the next evolution of capitalism. Is that how the Marx paper goes?

Though we do have an argument contradiction, I won't call you on it as you've entertained me for an hour.

Communism needs capitalism to preceed it to work, and all capitalism will eventually turn to communism.

Did I? I can't be bothered to argue my point its late, i just argued that capitalist democracy is a fake, i'm not going to argue why its wrong regardless whether it is fake or not (search the forums i'm sure i've done it a good few times already here), i'm going to bed. But trust that no matter what we argue, it will fall, and communism will take over, and you will give up your wealth you hide behind.

But he can, because of freedom of speech. He has the right to tell you that he thinks they're wrong.

Would he be able to do so under a communist society?

Now would be a bad time to discuss armed revolution. In light of a few other current events.

And the odds of communism winning social dominance over the current is slim to none IMO. First it has to overcome the trained-in avoidance we have to it. Think about how people feel about snakes. Its the same sub-conscience driving them. The current political structure we have works for the majority, and overcoming the majority by armed resistance is tough. Our own revolution illustrated this. We didn't win by force, that's certain. (I'm curious, do you have any numbers that illustrate the size of the american Communist Party?)

The beauty of a democracy is theres always some one sympathetic to some cause you want brought to light. All you have to do is find him and get him elected. The problem with speaking about armed revolution is that of the 2 possible outcomes one could be far worse than the status quo for the revolutionaries. Take Germans after World War I, not a revolution I know, but think about how the Europeans treated them for the next 15 years. Hell or even Communists, and people who were just accused of being, after McCarthys hey-day.

I don't think communism is wrong, I like the theory behind it, however I think that it will never work if it isn't put into place democratically (and democratically isn't putting a gun to the opponents head, that's Fascist.) You can look to Russia for why I think that. One successor, thats all it took. The system is too open to corruption, I could use some worn out cliche here about mans fallibility, but the point should be clear.

What I'm most curious of Dracoid, is why you choose to stay in the U.K.? Why no go to China, or Cuba? If the system there is so bad why do you stay? (Seriously, I'm not trying to poke or anything, I'm really curious.)

Sorry I should have stipulated that it needs to be since the Parties changed jackets and switched sides. (mid-50s I believe.)

If you actually paid attention to his politics, examples of "communism" like China or Cuba are not true Marxist Communism. There has never been an example, in history, or in present day that actually follows the original 'Communism' as Marx intended.

No, but had you paid attention then you'd have noticed that there aren't many communist countries to choose from. And that any communist country is closer to Marx than we are in the States. They only need reform, we need revolution to make them/us closer to Dracoid vision.

If Marx heard you say that he'd turn over in his grave. Capitalism is actually closer to communism than the examples you've given.

Yes, it is, however the problem is giving up personl properties, thats going to be the killer. I'll read up more on Marxs definition/theory tonight.

It's like reading a law book and working through the double speak at times.
