After reading Kelvyquayo's story about being busted, I wondered whether or not he is going to quit doing weed after that happened.

If I remember correctly, he got busted with a small amount of weed, some scales, some fireworks, etc. Because he has a cool boss, he wasn't canned, but that just seems lucky to me. So my question is, do you plan to change your lifestyle because of this? I mean, you will most likely have this on your record, and you should have lost your job, even though you didn't.

I see lots of people do stupid things, then somehow get off the hook, only to continue doing the same things, and eventually getting in serious trouble.

Kelv, are you one of those people, or do you actually have common sense?

But did he tell us what he did? I mean fry cooks at McDonalds are hard to come by, that must be why he kept his job.

When I worked at McDonalds for my first job when I was 15 this older guy got fired for coming to work high, the bosses loved him but he was causing so much a up roar that they had to do it. Sucks for him.

I'm not sure what country you're in, but being arrested does not prove guilt in the U.S..

When I was a teenager working in a resturaunt, the chef was arrested for stabbing and killing a guy in a road rage incident. A few days after the arrest he was back to work. I don't remember if it went to trial or was determined right away that it was a case of self defense. Either way, he was never convicted of any crime.

to answer the question Yes.. I plan to use this travesty as an opportunity to save some money and synapses... for awhile.. until I start strangling people and running over small animals... then it's back on the "medication" for me.

you must understand my intolerance of idiots. It was a good thing that I kept myself sedated lest I wig the **** out and go on a killing spree.... I know ya'll feel me.

You know, Fig, the self-important, uncaring ******* approach doesn't suit you too well. That's Moe's schtick. If you don't have anything nice/funny to say, shut the fuck up.

No, you're right, it doesn't. But Kelv admitting to us what he had in his possession does. Which he did. Which is what I based my original post upon.

Kelv,

I have an idea actually smoke the blunt before you go into work.

You guys should get a kick out this but I've read ganja is the top cash crop in the u.s. If this is true then the most produced crop in the country is illegal. Now how many politicians do you know that havn't inhaled =)

I have a hunch Kelv was a little more open with us than he was with the cops.

So we're back to my original point. Unless Kelv was silly enough to admit all the details to his boss, he really had no grounds to fire him (except missing work).

You're missing my point. Assuming that Kelv's job has a no-drug policy, which almost all jobs do, if he works there and does drugs, he should lose his job, whether his boss even knows about it or not.

See... in the OT I only listed waht was found in the residence.. I never said waht was mine.. if any of it...... as far as the details.. My boss found that thread..somwhow.... his main concern was people seeing it..because my face was my avatar..and he didn't want anybody else seeing it.. so I edited the post and changed my avatar..

Me not showing up WAs the biggest issue.. because I've never been the most punctual person.. and I'm contracted to a place that values punctuality greatly... so I'm moving back to the main office...which means alot less posts from yours truly..
He repected my honesty.. I told him the truth of it all.

And Deathfromtheskies. Your a Tool, Die.

Why do you automatically think he should have lost his job? You don't even know what he does for a living. He might be in a profession where this kind of thing is not much of an issue. Missing work was bad, but the pot thing? I don't know. Some examples:

School Bus Driver: yes, fire him.

Computer Programmer: if he writes good code, why fire a good employee over this one incident?

I dunno Kelvyquayo, you don't seem like a school bus driver type to me. But if you were, I'd trust my kids with ya.

Provided they have their training in small arms and explosives which they will have on them at all times during said bus ride.
