Who's going to win?
I say National League, 7-6

What will be the most interesting Pitcher-Batter matchup?
Mariano Rivera - Bonds (but Bonds won't be in the game that late)
Clemens - Former NYY teammates
Randy Johnson - anyone

Who will hit a home run?
I say A-Rod and Scott Rolen

Will Piazza and Clemens get in a fight?
unlikely

Who wins the Home Run Derby?
Bonds and Sosa in the finals, Sosa wins because Bonds hasn't had enough practice taking the bat off his shoulder this year.

How many players will NOT get into the game?
3 from each team.

FTFY. Gagne was overrated, and Schmidt had just slightly better numbers than Prior each category.

A Cubs fan optimistic? Who knew?

Seriously, if you think Sosa's swing can hold a candle to Barry's...well, let's just say you'll see at the derby.

Bonds is a better hitter than Sosa, no doubt. But since he can't strike out in the home run derby, Sosa shines. Just watched the rerun of the 2002 derby. Sosa was locked in, jacked at least 6 homers 500+ feet.

It's gonna be a good one. Too bad Griffrey can't make it.

Since Sosa lost in the first round, do his takers have any other brilliant guesses?

Well, I predicted Bonds and Sosa in the finals, so I'd be a flip-flop if I changed now.

Although as I write this, Bonds just finished the second round with only 3 HRs. whatev.

Does the singing of the National Anthem *have* to be the most tediously souful rendition ever sung every year?

Get someone that can actually throw the ball to throw out the first pitch.

They could have at least played a little samba music while Ali was on his way to the mound so it would have looked like he was just shimmying to the music.

Could Manny Ramirez at least comb his hair? I know a haircut would be too much to ask from this classless nappy-headed boor, but he could at least comb it.

That's all for now.
