I work? I mean.. I'm at work, but... Smiley: grin

I usually lead a pretty dull private life. I have a five year old son, so that means a lot of evenings staying in. Cook dinner, read the paper, dork around on the web or playing EQ, etc. Housework, laundry, playing with the kid, etc takes up the rest of it. I could pawn him off on my mom and go out, but that means getting back early enough to pick him up and take him home and it's just not worth the hassle.

It being summer though, my son is at his mother's for the next month and change so I get more of a chance to go out. Still, it's nothing exciting to anyone but me. Hanging out at friends' houses, having a few beers, hitting a bar, etc. Nothing that everyone else isn't doing.

What a drag it is getting old...

My social life is on hold at the moment. The kid's 2 months old, and he takes up, happily, most of my time. In the spare time, I lurk here, marvel at how much more articulate Reinman is on the EQLive boards than in the asylum. (Smiley: wink), play EQ. I also enjoy furniture making and yard maintenance.

Yeah, you'll be here too when you have lived twice as long as you have now.

So far, just a cradle for the Lucas, some bookshelves, a wine rack and a really bad morris chair. The wife is being good about letting me buy enough wood to get better though.

Yes, fire away. That last line is too good to pass up.

I love it when men can craft things. Especially wooden things.

I hate the courts in California bastards took 750 a month from me and I dont even get to see the kid until I save up for a lawyer. My ex-girlfriend just bats her little eyes said I was a prick and bam I am. But every crack head on dissabilitie gets to pay zip. Any ways I like to play with my daughter and take walks with my wife. I play final fantasy also.

Puh-lease....

I'm not interested in how many crackers you can stack up or doodles you can make on your Etch-A-Sketch.

when I'm not at work work or here in the forum, I like to do a variaty of things. Hang out with my friends here in Houston, watch the occasional movie, etc. When i'm not doing that, I like to work on my entirely too numerous hobbies. Currently i am rebuilding a 36 inch HP color plotter, and attempting to build a radio contolled blimp/zeplin (still in the materials gathering and planning stage. Anyone know a good source of ripstop nylon bonded urithane fabric?). Oh, and world domination. That's a hobby too

Moebius, what style of woodwork do you prefer? router work, turning stuff on a lathe, etc?
