The One with Jet Li

3 Kings. oh, or Wild Wild West with Will Smith. How I hated myself afterwards for spending the money. Black Mask with Jet Li was pretty bad, but it had the stupid funny thing going for it.

I'd just like to nominate House of the Dead if it hasn't already. What a horrible movie, it wasn't even stupid funny... it was just plain stupid. I still watched the whole thing, the only movie I didn't finish was Sound of Silence.

"House of 1000 Corpses"- Crazed rednecks kidnapping people and mutilating them.

"Wrong Turn"- Take "House of 1000 Corpses" and make them inbred.

"Cabin Fever"- Crappy actors with a bad script is never a good combination.

New nominees:

Lawnmower Man 2: Jobe's War.

Jeeze, as if the 1st one wasn't bad enough....

They took a Stephen King short story and twisted so badly as to be unrecognizable. About as bad as what they did to:

The Running Man

Jeeze, I could just include my channel listings from 190-233 right now. (Encores, HBOs, Cinemaxes). TV sucks lately. Thankfully, I own enough DVDs to fill in the gaps in between Cops episodes.

* Any of the Children Of The Corn movies.

Hell, Stephen King himself admits these are crap. Therefore, they are the crap de la crap. :-> (Though I personally like the miniseries versions of his books, which is what The Stand, the non-Jack Nicholson version of The Shining, and a few others were. Two hours at a time, two or three days a week, for a week or two, is good.)

* Anaconda.

Redeeming factors: It has J. Lo in it. And a giant animatronic snake.

Suck factors: Everything except the snake.

WTF factor: That they've made a sequel to it, which should be out sometime around now. And that said sequel is IN THEATERS, not DTV like crap is supposed to be.

I'm not sure what the movie is called, it's a "cult classic"**. I think it's called Johnny Suede. Anyways, it's one of Brad Pitt's first movies where he's sporting a GIGANTIC pompadour.

Like Gbaji Was saying about TRL being a series of events that do not go anywhere, Johnny Suede is quite similar. The whole movie is just several beginnings poorly stitched together. The movie actually cons you into watching it with these false plot lines. In that regard, I guess it's a touch clever.

If you ever see this horror, I can promise you that at the end of the movie you will stare blankly at your hands and think "I'll never get those two hours back."

Please do not see this movie.

**Yet another reason why film students shot on sight.

I have to say that Day After Tomorrow was terrible. I was sitting in the movie theater wanting to gouge my eyes out and puncture my ears because I couldn't deal with the massive Greenpeace propaganda being thrown at me any longer.

^^ agree, people were actually laughing in my theatre and it was during parts that were suposed to be serious

worst movie ever

Anything remotely close to fast and the furiuos, bring it on, or any other movie that (@#%^ you im not racist) applies to minorities. The same minorities that listen and resPECT Jadakiss for songs like "Why?". I thought 20% of a voting population made me frown on my own country. This entire niche of media does... unfortunately applying to an *** load of people.

I'm not gonna comment on the Jadakiss part of your post but the only "movies that apply to minorities" I have a problem with are the "minority teaches white person how to do something minorities are stereotypically good at and they become friends/lovers" movies like Save the Last Dance. No one has accused you of racism yet but you need to clarify the "movies that apply to minorities" thing b/c that sounds racist as hell, especially when it can be argued that most other movies are "movies that apply to white people" due to the complete lack of minorities anywhere other than ones seen during a jail scene or behind the counter at McDonalds. Also, how the hell does Fast and the Furious "apply to minorities"? Because they didn't listen to "white music"? To me most movies geared towards minorites are no different from the same action schlock that they used to put in Van Damme movies, except swap Jet Li for Van Damme and any popular rapper for the sidekick character.

Worst movie ever?

Aliens vs. Predator.

No...Solaris. WORST MOVIE EVER!!!! It was a waste of production costs, it was a waste of advertising space, it's almost a waste of energy to type anything about the movie except that it sucks so unbelievably hard. It was, in fact, possibly the worst cinematic venture ever undertaken by the film industry. It was slow, it was insipid, it was simple, it was uninspired and for those of you who say "No, you didn't see the foreign version, you didn't get the whole story, you don't understand!!" No...really, I got it...and it still sucked. THat's all

House of the Dead, no question. Movies based on video games generally suck, and that worse than most.

Sigh, I cant belive I scrolled through 3 pages hopeing that someone would be educated enough to pick the right movie. Oh well, leave it up to the adult to bring this topic to a fitting conclusion.
