I know there is no way to determine this, but everyone has an opinion. I recently saw "Labyrinth", and let me tell you, it was a suckfest of epic proportions.

Another stinker is Howard the Duck. Wow, this thing was unrelenting in its crappiness.

What is the worst movie you've ever seen?

I dunno, Labyrinth is bad, but it's a classic example of movie camp. Or cheese. Or campy cheese.

I'd much rather watch Labyrinth over, Bad Boys 2 for example.

Well I watched Attack of the Killer Clowns from Outer Space once...that was a cheesefest like you wouldn't believe. It was pretty damn funny though.

Dude, Howard the Duck was a freakin' great movie! When he saves the chic by strapping that huge gun to the gokart and speeds towards the huge evil guy, classic stuff man.

Lol whenever anyone mentions that movie I think of that one Seinfield episode with the video store employee picks.

I laughed so hard at this post, because I know exactly what you mean about a movie being "stupid funny", and if that movie can't even achieve that, then it must be one sad piece of work.

I agree with you about Weekend at Bernie's; the first one was greatness, the second was eh....

well, I saw "Weekend" in the Theatre when it was released.... in defence of those who condemn it, I may change my mind if I watched it post-puberty...

Agreed. Besides it had the principle from Ferris Bueller in it.

Another stinker is a movie by the name of "Ginger Snaps". It's about a high-school girl who becomes a werewolf, and her sister's struggle to help her through the pain. It was utter garbage. My wife (then my GF) made me watch it. She's lucky I still married her after that. ;)

Some people would say Ishtar, but I happen to love that movie.

The worst one I have ever seen is Punch Drunk Love.

The worst movie I have ever seen is Anna and the King, which was a remake of "The King and I" with Chow Yun Fat.

Not only was it a HORRIBLE movie, and I was forced to see it on a date, but I'm a fan of Chow Yun Fat's Hong Kong films, and seeing him in a role like that made me sad. Since then he hasn't done anything to impress here in the states, that's for sure.

I saw this old Japenese movie with Jet Li in it called Contract Killer, you can pick it up at your local blockbuster Smiley: smile, it was english dubbed but horribly and the action was lame and the story made no sense. (compared to his other ones, Li let me tell you! Stop making movies where your the only asian guy and the rest are black!)

Killer clowns was stupid but kinda funny.

And Howard the duck kicked ***! That chic was hot to.

Bah. You guys are in amateur "sucky film" land. Except for the Anna and the King bit. That's getting there. All the rest of you are listing off films that were never supposed to be "good" in the first place. And in a couple cases (labyrinth and weekend) were very good considering the source.

I"ve said before and I'll say again. The all time worst film ever absolutely has to be Thin Red Line. No other film was so hyped as a "classic", and looked forward to with such expecyation, and then end up being such a totally unwatchable film at TRL.

I've seen all of the films listed above. I've seen several of them in the theatre. In not one of them did the audience literally gasp in relief when the credits finally ran. One person a couple rows behind us actually said: "Oh thank God!" when it was revealed that the most recent fade out was indeed the last one and the film was over. Yes. It sucked that bad...

You enjoyed Punch Drunk Love? Christ, my wife and I left stunned at how bad it was. We walked out with the other watcher in a collective "WTF was that?"

I liked The Postman.

Punch Drunk love was also aight in my book.

Mostly because I had some beef with my sister and I didn't mind him standing up for himself finally and putting his sisters in their place.

Perhaps it's because I have some issues with my sister :).

Luckily, I didn't pay to see Thin Red Line. I agree that movie was utter crap. It started out promising, showing the Pacific side of the war, where you had to worry about more than the enemy, for example, poisonous snakes.

The thing that really sucked about that movie, was the slow, drawn out voiceovers that tried to wax poetic. Honestly, with all the cameos, and starring Jesus "Jim Caviziel" or whatever his name is, it seemed like a big circle jerk for male hollywood stars.

Did anyone see "The Talented Mr. Ripley"?

Man, that has to be the gayest thing Matt Damon has ever done, and that's saying something.

Nah. The Postman didn't come close to the level of suck at TRL. It at least had a coherent plot and didn't have mindnumbingly long scenes of waving fields of grain.

Oh. And major characters and actors didn't just randomly appear, spend 20 seconds on the screen, and then disappear, never to be seen again.
