WTF? Is there a rule or something in SF?At least the first movie followed something true to the comic.
Interesting, enough. Where is Gwen?
It states clearly that Harry takes the new Green Goblin.
In the comic Harry was a drug-addict, how come in the movie he looks quite succesfull and untouched by drugs?

No he becomes the green goblin, I already posted this once. Just check the history of the green goblin and it specifically says harry becomes the green goblin.

In Spider-Man 2, when Harry discovers his father's secret room, it shows the green goblins mask and equipment, not the Hobgoblins.
Personally, I was thinking that they are going to up-the-ante considerably in the third movie (cause isn't that what trilogys are all about?). My guess: Three villians: Venom, created when MJ's ex-astroboyfriend goes into space and is overtaken by the alien suit, the Lizard, created in some sort of Oscorp lab accident making him Harry's minion, and the Green Goblin. I wouldn't put it past them to introduce some sort of new hero to help Spider-Man out with all of these villians. Maybe Black Cat?

If there is one thing you can count on Hollywood to do, it's to milk that cow till the teats rupture and spray offal over the entire series of movies. When has that not happened? Face it, it's not about the story, it's about the money that it brings in. So as long as the dollars are flowing at the box office, they'll make Spiderman movies, which likely will culminate in a Spiderman vs Rocky CVXIII, The Webhead Challenges the Geriatric Italian Stallion or something like that.

I'm betting that they will have the return of the Goblin with Harry resuming his father's role (as in the comics, mentioned previously in this thread) and Dr. Connors (Peter Parker's college professor)will become the Lizard in the next film. Venom = Eddie Brock. A long time Spidey friend, who I did'nt see in Spider Man 2. It will be unfortunatley the Lizard and Hobgoblin in 3, which is ho-hum at best.
