No, the fact the he was born in the U.S., is currently a U.S. citizen, and over the age of 35 qualifies him to become president of the U.S.

Attorneys that sue McDonald's over coffee that causes 3rd degree burns are called "justified".

Further, McDonalds' quality assurance manager testified that the company actively enforces a requirement that coffee be held in the pot at 185 degrees, plus or minus five degrees. He also testified that a burn hazard exists with any food substance served at 140 degrees or above, and that McDonalds coffee, at the temperature at which it was poured into styrofoam cups, was not fit for consumption because it would burn the mouth and throat. The quality assurance manager admitted that burns would occur, but testified that McDonalds had no intention of reducing the "holding temperature" of its coffee.

So Mcd's basically said yeah it's hot if you burn yourself tough break. It's about time some company said scew it to basic stupidity, I mean how many people actually drink from scalding cups? Well this one dumb ***** did and now the price of coffee is going to increase for all the normal people that actually wait until the coffee doesn't burn them to try and drink it, imagine that.

On a side note...I heard a list of dumbest people to win a lawsuit on the radio and this one old fart jackass actually got up to refill his coffee in his winnebago...the only problem is he was on the freaking highway. He got an attorney sued winnebago and now the instruction manual actual reminds people not to leave the steering wheel to get coffee while driving, paraphrased.

And these people are looked up to in the country.... how far a great nation has fallen

Sure this is about Kerry and it's unfortunate that you don't know what it takes to qualify to be the President of the United States(it certainly isn't money). Anyone can be president, even the most narrow minded, judgemental, opinionated person in the world.
It's very obvious that his current standing, politcally, speaks for itself as it is the people of this country who are behind him. So pull out that wild hair, chill, then read up on what criteria is needed to run for president, personally his background speaks for itself. Bye Bye bush

Prosecuters work for the government and try criminal cases. The people who sue McDonalds are civil litigation attorneys.

I don't even know what this thread is about anymore. Are you arguing that lawyers shouldn't be politicians? 59 out of 100 current Senators are lawyers. Personally, I'd prefer the people who are making the laws to actually know the law.

And oh yeah, NTS.

McD's admitted to willfully and intentionally keeping coffee at ~50 degrees above normal temperatures and above "Safe" levels for hot beverages even after over seven hundred claims regarding its unsafe temperature. They even admitted that they sold coffee dangerously unsafe for consumption knowing most people intended to drink it immediately. They were clearly at fault.

Besides, I posted for the benefit of people who take the case at its publicly presented face value, not for puppet tools like yourself who post only to troll Smiley: smile

No i'm just saying the attorneys i've known, and used, all seem to be evil sob's. Of course i think it's a rule that you have to be an attorney before you can run for office these days so our govn is filled with crooked evil sob's...from both sides of the political spectrum.

The funny thing is that they have to keep it 40-50 degrees above a normal serving temperature to make it taste good.
