Kerry get a jobFollow

#1 Jul 06 2004 at 3:54 PM Rating: Default
A big hurah for anyone that can tell me what qualifies kerry for the highest office in the land considering his net value was around 20k when he married theresa who is one of the wealthiest women in the country and can afford to finance his political aspirations.

I know the temptation of you lib's is to spin it around and say well what has bush ever done. But remember the question is about kerry.

The common man isn't supposed to aspire to become president?

They lied to me in 3rd grade Smiley: frown

Hell, I'd say being a 20k guy who can bag a rich widow to finance his running for president on the Democratic ticket with her Republican money qualifies him!

Oh, so you mean graduating from Yale, fighting in Vietnam and serving 4 terms in the senate doesn't qualify him?

Yeah, its pretty apparent you don't have any standards, just as long as they're republican..

What does this say of your ideals and values? Do you have any? We are talking about the highest position in the world. This is why liberalism will inevitably fail. You have no respect for anything and one who can't respect anything will be shown no respect themselves.

There are things about our government I may disagree with this doesn't keep me from voting for the person I think respects the office and the ideals of the free people of this country.

And yes character does matter despite what the tv pundits say. Bush may be no Reagan but he's certainly not a clinton.

Who else do we know graduated from Yale? As for fighting in vietnam that's debatable considering how he carried himself and the fact that none of his commanding officers are endorsing his run for presidency and the scratch that was covered with a bandaid earning him a purple heart and free ride home to talk about all the atrocities he'd seen, under oath mind you, that he didn't actually see. And serving 4 terms in the senate? Are you serious I said a real job where you have to produce a profit or you're gone.

Let me make sure I have this right you think anyone who's parents paid for their education should automatically be disqualified to run for public office?

Good thing I had scholarships and grants and a few loans pay my way or else I would be just as unqualified to run for office as the millions of other kids that graduate on daddys tip.

Let me clarify, Varus. (If that IS your REAL name)

When I say "pay his way through", I mean pay for his grades.

And when I say "Varus", I mean "Fuck off, you fucking sock".

Actually i'm a libertarian but bush is far and away the lesser of two evils.

As for the puppet thing can't tell ya. What I can tell ya is I don't believe the govn should be dipping it's hands in my pocket every time some dem decides to create a program to help people that are lazy bums just to hire more govn officials to file the paperwork. You see the bums by the local soup kitchen offer them a job and see where that gets ya.

It's not Bush's job to make a profit it's his job to protect us from people that would seek to harm us. Now if that's the cost so be it, you know they say war is hell and we are in a war right now and it's not the 60's and not vietnam. I have an idea why don't we scrape npr and kill the national endowment for the arts...cut welfare so these ghetto moms will stop having so many kids they can't support so that real taxpayers have to pay for them. Man I could go on.

You'd think his dad would have paid for him to get better grades then, don't you think?

Look. Aside from his family "being in oil", what makes you think that Bush Jr didn't earn his degree just like everyone else?

While I understand it's fun and all to make up ludicrous things about candidates, at what point did we just assume that everyone from even a semi-wealthy family must be corrupt and must have cheated or used their money to get everything they have?

How can you make the assumption that Bush cheated his way through school while Kerry didn't?

I knew the rants were about to come....

Dems are all the same everything they say is based on emotion rather than logic and reason. If you say something they can't deal with or comprehend they just start shouting and ranting and I start smiling and laughing.

How much do I have to pay you to GO FUCK YOURSELF, Gbaji? Huh?

It's because he's a ********** idiot. That's why people think that.

That is just an ignorant statement. I'm done with you. You have yet to present any kind of argument and are trolling. I was hoping you'd actually take a stance, however you have yet to say anything relevant to anything.
