BAHAHA! That's a pretty poor quote?? Dude, he said that he believed life started at conception, which in his view would make abortion murder, no? If the guy won't "push his views on someone else" when it comes to murder than what the f&*^ will he push what he believed in for? Tax increases? Yah, he has no problem pushing those beliefs on anyone does he.

Oh, by the way, what is this "pushing your beliefs" on people BS. If you believe in something you should stick by it, no? I mean, if you really truly believe in something...not that I think John Kerry believes in anything sincerely. A leader will by definition always be pushing one belief or another on some group of people, because you will never find a policy that 100% of people agree with...Kerry doesn't get to play both sides of this political coin...nuh uh, not lettin' him get away with it.

Just have to point this out: You really have no idea what the "pro-choice" position on abortion is, do you?

Ahhh so you're a sockpuppet, it all makes sense now.

I hope that's not in reference to me...if so let me make a few things perfectly clear.

1) Agreeing with someone does not make you a sock puppet, if it did, this place and the majority of you would be a dresser drawer full.

2) Being enthusiastic about seeing someone who, at least on this topic, thinks along similar lines as me and scored some good points is plain normal...I'm pretty sure half of you guys ****** everytime Smash speaks anyway. (especially Pickle, damn that guy is out to hump smashes leg I think, I'd watch my bakc bro)

3) This is the first time I've seen Mrens post.

4) I don't do puppets.

Well, due to the fact that Mrens posted nowhere in this thread, and nobody was talking about Mrens, I think it's rather obvious now.

Doh!

The hell?

Kaolian can you please verify for everyone that this is NOT one of my puppets before he tarnishes my flawless reputation?

It should be fairly obvious that this is not one of mine, even without the verification.

1. He went out of his way to try and make it look like I was a puppet of his.
2. Me and my puppets stay the **** away from any political commentary threads, we could not care less.
3. The puppet is agreeing with Smash, and unless I woke up today with a brain tumor, I would rarely do that
4. My puppets have about the lasting power of a 17 year old boy on prom night, this person has over 100 posts, I would have given up a while ago.
5. Between Skeet being a ******* moron and continuing the horribly bad Thundra/Mrens/Skeet joke in an attempt to link himself with a poster that is not a complete and utter piece of **** and Stabitha people have been trying to pin there bad attempts of puppetry on me.
6. I'm voting for Kerry

"Looking at the recent numbers, I would say it is pretty much over for Bush - baring stunning turnaround best he can hope for is if neither candidate gets the 270 electoral college votes and the congress decides in his favor." --Yossarian

It is so early in the political season and in the middle of the dog days of summer, hence slow news days, that any kind of polling numbers-- which would be suspect anyhow --are no indicator of what November's reality will be. Anything at all (and I do mean anything) will cause a blip in the man-on-the-street's opinion when viewed through the instant reaction poll. Which is why polls are about worthless short of minutely specific data one may gather for informational purposes.

It's never over at least until the Wednesday following the first Monday in November. Sometimes it's not even over then.

That being said, I fail to understand why the dumb c*unt that started this post is so disgusted with trial lawyers, but is apparently happy with an idiot oil tycoon out to look out only for the best interests of Haliburton and his fellow CEO's.

Not all trial lawyers are out there to sue MacDonald's because someone got fat. Actually, many of them help people wrongfully injured by the huge corporations that your gay *** President is looking to keep untouchable.

Since no one has made the reference yet (which I find alarming):

"What are you going to do, it's a two-party system, you have to vote for one of us!"

"Why, I believe I'll vote for a third-party candidate!"

"Go ahead, THROW YOUR VOTE AWAY!"

That's largely true. Seeing a continuing downward trend in an incumbents approval rating as an election nears is never a good sign, though. Polls aren't very signifigant at this point, but they're not utterly meaningless. If they were showing 80/20 for Bush I'm sure you'd be putting some stock in them.

Your state's dead in the water anyway :)

No he isn't. He's cutting military benefits and pay. He's hurting your economy.

This may come as a shock to you, but we ARE the whipping boys for the rest of the world. Bush had to go BEG Nato for troops, and he didn't get them.

I guess they probably were insulted that the leader of the US wasn't asking them.

Nope. I've decided to officially declare myself an independant state. Hopefully I'll be able to rejoin the Union after November.
