A major corporation announced another 1,100 layoffs in July after laying off 22,000 people over the last 2.5 years. According to my sources the current employees at this corporation are extremely over worked even though they have out sourced a good number of positions to a technology company. Also some of the previous laid off people have been out of work for 2 years plus. The market is over saturated and an abundance of small businesses are cropping up all over the country both in IT related fields and unrelated industries. Now the kicker is, when the major company out sourced to the IT company the IT company only promised it's "transfered" employees a job for one year. Which in one years time may mean additional lay offs in the thousands.
My question to you is... what would you do if you where one of the ones being laid of in July?
