I never said specificly going against ticketmaster, but media thrives on controversy, and bands thrive on media coverage.
People think "Whoah, that band fricken DEFIED THE MAN! That's awesome. We gotta go see 'em!"
I define commercialized as when you can walk up to the average joe, ask them about the band, and they'll have heard of them.
There's nothing wrong with commercialized bands. Iron Maiden and Judas Priest are commercialized. I love them.
I don't hold any stupid notions of things like "Selling-out". I do, however, laugh at people who say other bands have sold-out, when bands they list as being better than that are just the same, or worse.
