You may not feel its neccessary but from a PR perspective with the rest of the forum it would make sense for him to do it, and on a personal level I think that an apology would probably make you both feel better. Maybe I am mistaken, you seem to be handling it well but for him it just well makes sense.

I've had a karma camper for like 3 weeks now that systematically rates everyone of my posts down. It kinda makes me laugh that s/he's wasting his life doing so. I'm curious to see how long he/she'll actually keep it up.
