I feel for you here. I've basically started skipping over most of the posts in the threads I do open as well. I just look for the names of certain people (e.g. you, Totem, Tare, Jophiel, etc.). All these 14-year-olds either have no opinion, or don't have anything to back their opinion up.

Something's gone horribly awry. I agree with skeet and this thread didn't annoy me at all. The gender confused oddball has a point.
