hehe, no i just keep all of my comercial customers updated so things like that did not happen to them, and then once i get some details on the ports i locked down the incoming and outgoing ports ASAP.
im so very supprised i did not get more calls from my residential customers though. i normaly do, but that just means i will in a few more weeks once their systems totaly crash on em *grins* more $$$ for me.
i do feel your pain, but if they are co-workers, then you can beat the snot out of your IT department for that one. if the IT department does not keep systems updated at least for security patching, then that is just their own fault for having to deal with crap like this.
