My addictions? Caffeine and nicotine. I'm also addicted to these cursed forums.

Come to think of it, I think the first thread I ever started on the OOT was entitled "More addicting than EverCrack". Maybe I should bump it up for kicks, seeing as that's my thing recently.

Being mean to Pikko will get you banned.

Now ask who the hell I am.

And don't tempt me. Flyers lost and I'm in a bad mood.

So I guess comparing you to a **** would be out of the question then?

Just checkin. Esche looked like he was hung over. Is it Phillidelphia where they throw the octopus on the ice :)

I'm not currently addicted to any game, although I am playing SWG. Mostly now, for a lack of anything else to do, and it's still fun sometimes.

My only other addiction is a moderate one, and that's keeping up the exercise to finally get rid of the last of this baby fat.

I wrote some of my best papers 1 hour before they were due. Of course I nearly passed out when I got to the classroom from running but it all turned out well I guess. :P

Heh, I watch CSI too and so does my husband. Even though he screams at the tv "this show is so STOOOOPED!!" every time he hears Grissom's one liner, he still sits down next to me after about 10 minutes to watch. bwahaha!

I watched one episode of Miami and never went back.

Even if I had the 8 love handles and 6 chins you accuse of, I'd blame them all on my pregnancy. :P

You know I find a little love handle kind of nice.. but 8 of them and 6 chins to match is a little much.

Yup. Thanks to that handy-dandy search option, I found it without having to wade through pages upon pages of old OOT threads.

Hmmm? TOT? Looks like Im going to have to check it out.

/agrees with above

Anyone else just find the temperature drop about 10 deg?

Look to say I'm neutral to all this FFI/OOT integration going on would be a blatant lie. So we were a little stale around here, those of us that took refuge in this forum liked it the way it was. We could "ALMOST" have a real conversation go on. Now it takes 4 hours and 2 full pages to dig threw the **** that has been splattered on our beloved forum.

What have you done? In the name of the "Great Cocoa Jihad" you went out on some quest to bring us fresh blood. Good for you, now you warned these kids what they were getting into by joining us. Dont try to squash the already " distinct OOT" personalities that have grown wildley here for years. If they get their toes stepped on and their pride crushed but still come back for more, great. If not, too ******* bad, we wont miss them.

This is the first time I have ever been truley disappointed in the administrations guidance of the board population and procreation of it. Congradulations Kao Smiley: cookieon the admin. Wonder what was said for it to have already been altered by another adminSmiley: yikes. If this is all about keeping the boards "alive" great, but dont chase away your regulars by biting thier heads off, threatening banning (couldnt have been SHE ISNT MARKED AS AN ADMIN!!!!!), and forcing us to fit into a mold that is gentler on the average reader. Thats not fair to the rest of us that have been loyal scince almost day one. Speaking for myself I only bought the "Membership" because of a feeling of loyalty to you Allah.

We love this home away from home you created for us. We have watched as friends have come and gone. We have all at one time or another poured our hearts out to this board. And, like to admit it or not, we have all told intimate secrets and wishes to these anonymous voices that we share a common bond with, OOT. We have shared the ups and downs, and still we came out fighting. We thank you for the many hilarious, and fond memories we have of it. I am sure we will have many more to come.

Thank you

--- now you can flame away you leet flamers you...

p.s.

Pat.... I think we are getting more of a clear picture on some of your thoughts.... I would like to say I am sorry.

Sorry you feel that way Katielynn. To answer your question, the title was changed by Danalog because he was in a title changeing mood that day.

My thoughts on the OOT situation are this. Lately, people leaving > People staying. Eventually, if that trend keeps up, no one will be left.

It's not about making people change, or disrupting the day to day operations here of the forum too much, it's just about giving the new people a chance before some multi-thousand post count estableshed poster comes along and obliterates them. Sure, some of the new arrivals probably won't really mesh well, and there will enevitably be a higher turnover of new people, but some of them will stick around and thrive, and eventually become mainstay posters. Just give it a chance for a little while please?

As far as censorship goes, the only thing that has been changed or altered here recenly was the avatar Mren had up. That would have been changed regardless of who's account it was given the content. Beyond that nothing has been changed.

Think of it as an adventure

I would have thought being the same color as Danalog and Kaolian would be enough. :P I'd update my profile and make my Administrator title come back but it took me like a month of nagging to finally get this name so I'm going to enjoy it for at least that long. ^_^
