has little to do with religion, and more to do with the fact that they have not grown up as a culture.

by that i mean they are still 'tribes' not nations. they are this tribe, or this clan, or that what ever you want to call them, but they are not a Nation like United Kingdom, or Brazil, or China.

thus they are still living like they did roughly 2000 years ago and can not deal with the larger population, the faster access to other places and people, etc.

the only thing they understand is violance and that is the only thing they will ever understand until they grow up as a culture.

My opinions also coincide with those of Singdall and KakarSmakar. I don't think it's so much that they are unruly because they are Islamic as they are unruly because they have to respect for their society. Islam is just the scapegoat for the cause of their actions. Hell, I could go out and kill a bunch of policemen and say that I did it because Allah, Christ, John Smith, Budda and Moses all told me to do so (did get all the major religions in there?), but that doesn't mean that it's a good excuse.

I say, throw religion to the dogs, let these people own up to their own actions instead of laying the blame on Allah.

Well, to be fair, and this is from an Atheist now, there's a big diffrence between a religon based on a book that says "Kill the witches" and a book that says "Kill everyone who isn't a beliver"

There's quite a few catholic schools in South Boston. For some reason Catholic school girls put out a lot more too, at least when I was a lad. I wouldn't know about now, you'd have to ask Gabji.

It is my belief that many muslims flock to this country (good ole US of A) to get away from this. I simply do not believe all people who embrace Islam are guided by violence. When it boils down to it Islam has yet to have its "Protestant Reformation" if you will. Many times throughout cultural history there has been a rise in violence before an embrace of new ideas and sweeping change. I feel sorry for them yet despise the violence. They are poorly educated and led by religious fanatacism in that part of the world. Their leaders point westward for the problems and issues they face and many blindly follow. There's a select few that have their hands on immeasurable wealth from oil. Many more live in squalor and hold rage in their hearts. Democracy shakes their culture at it's foundations because it gives power back to the people and opens the road for public education and worldwide exchange of ideas. For all that they have to learn from us we have to learn from them as well.

They picked the wrong religion then. They should rename what they choose to do as something else, because according to the Koran, which in Islam is infalible, they're guided by violence.

Allah is most mercifull, though.
