I'm sitting here watching this game when all of a sudden the camera pans over to the Maloof brothers at courtside. Right next to them is their mother who looks for all the world like Karen Black, goofy eye, mascara and all. That'd have to be kinda weird having her as your mom...

No, no, and no. While Karen Duffy had a wonderful chest-- that's the only reason I remember her --and Carpenter weirds me out (did you know she has a gymnasium named after her in San Diego?) none of those are Karen Black. She was a "B" movie and TV actress who did a bunch of films with Burt Reynolds and Dom Deluise, had tons of eye makeup, had a cockeyed eye, and was the darling of Hollywood back in the Seventies.
