I moved out of my parents' house the day I turned 17. (They weren't particularly supportive of some ...issues... in my life)
Now I am one of the operations managers of a nuclear power plant. It pays to do well in math and physics, I guess... but I always enjoyed art and writing more.

thats my school. own it and teach for a living. i also do IT work on the side. more networking with win2k server and loads of hardware support. not much in the way of printer support or software support. dont code, yet.
starting to learn *nix and really look forward to in about a year moving to 100% *nix at my school and getting rid of the reboot problem with M$.

I have an economics degree but am working as a AutoCAD tech/graphic artist/engineer for a landscape architecture firm. Weird, I know. Basically, I do promotion brochures and presentation drawings as well as a bunch of the AutoCAD drafting. I seem to be also the only one in the office who knows how to use the computer program to do cut-and-fill analysis and the like so I get "stuck" with those too ;) Granted there are only 4 of us here so hehe.
Why is everyone ******** about each others jobs. If their so insecure they have to make up a profession to cover the fact they have a lousy job or no job at all then leave em to it.

As a gay man, I work a stereotypical gay job. I'm a gay Front Desk Clerk/ gay Night Audit at a gay hotel. (i'm going to leave the gay name out). The pay is kinda gay, but the not-so-gay people are cool to work with. Except for this one gay bible-thumpin, ub3r-1337 gay Christian that works there. His whole attitude is pretty gay.
