Sure. So when we know for sure that we accomplished "nothing", then we can start comdemning it. Right now, even the most pessimistic opponent to this war cannot say for sure whether it'll all be worth it in the end.
What we have done is topple Saddam's regime and defeat his military.
What we have done is capture Saddam and kill his sons.
What we have done is capture or kill the majority of the leaders during Saddam's reign.
What we have done is provide food and provisions for the people of Iraq while doing all this.
What we have done is spend huge amounts of money rebuilding infrastructure in Iraq.
What we have done is work towards building a new government for the Iraqi people.
I simply wouldn't call that "little to nothing". Never in the history of man has such a thing been done with as few losses as we've had in Iraq. Exactly what are you comparing the number of deaths to? Without a comparison, it's kinda hard to say that the numbers are shockingly large.
I will give you one comparision though (which I did earlier as well):
During the same time period that 600 US soldiers lost their lives attempting to bring Democracy to Iraq, 100,000 US citizens lost their lives just commuting to work. Which do *you* think is "accomplishing something"?
