Hypothetically and stuff.. let's just say you have a friend. You'd probably call him a "best" friend. Known him since grade school, best man at his wedding, all that sort of stuff. And, for the sake of argument, let's say you were accidentally browsing through **** sites and you came across pictures of his (over 18) sister. Maybe you weren't "bet your mother's soul on it" sure, but you were at least "bet the soul of that guy over there" sure. Would you say anything?

I figure I wouldn't, but it was mighty startling anyway. Or it would be.

I wouldn't say anything. If my best friend's over 18 sister/brother decided to pose nude for the internet, that's her business. I just wouldn't go back to that web site. That's just a little too weird.

Let's say I do not know her well enough to make any inquiries.

One could argue that when you choose to set it all out there for the world to see in a public forum, it no longer remains exclusively your business

And yet you could also state(hypothetically) that making one's immediate family aware of something that one did as a (possible) anonymous lark is just mean. She could be a freak and a **** queen, but she could also have just been drunk and feeling frisky and eager to show herself off to the world (excluding her brother).

Nah, not a guy thing. I know all my girl's families as well, but I try not to hang much with the brothers. All sex fiends who would sell me up the river if they ever came across my secret **** site.

Strictly for the record, you'll note in my OP that I said that, should such a situation occur, I would utter nary a peep. My original intent wasn't so much to solicit advice as much to draw up public opinion and that sort of thing. You could probably accuse me of blatently claiming to have seen boobies, but boobies are hardly a scare commodity on the net

I was merely pointing out the irony of someone making images of themselves publicly available in that fashion and then thinking that pointing out that you'd seen those images was suddenly taboo because it was "none of your business".

Unless, of course, I misunderstood you and you were speaking in more general terms than directing anything my way. In which case, mea cupla.

As for myself, should the situation be reversed, I'd be split. If such photos existed in a general sense, I'd prefer to remain blissfully unaware. But if I personally knew someone who had seen them, I'd kinda want to know. Not that it'd really matter, but if I found out after the fact, my inital reaction would probably be "Whoah, you saw that a year ago and never said anything? Huh."

As for knowing her, I know her so far as weddings, BBQ's and family parties, but not well enough to feel comfortable saying "Hey.. did you know I saw you on the net? Naked?"

You may want to examine the photograph to determine it is real as well. It is unfortunatly fairly common for sick bastards to go around shopping for regular people's heads to paste onto the bodies of less than clothed individuals. Not sure if that hypothetically happened here, but it is a possibility

If it were my sister, after my parents got done killing her, I'd probably just quietly make the web server in question cease to exist and hope they didn't have backups. That's a bad situation all the way around.

I mean that "it's none of your business" in the sense that she's an adult and has the right, if so chooses, to allow naked pictures of herself to be taken for publication.

Like Kao said, also, it's really quite easy to photoshop someone's head onto a picture of a naked model.

We obviously have insufficient facts.
